Get Comfy & Cozy in the Library

Words cannot properly express my gratitude for your generosity in supporting our library through your donations. The bean bags purchased with your funds have created a fun and cozy space for the students that visit the library during their free time. The laughter and conversation generated by the new seating is wonderful to hear!

When the bean bags arrived, my student workers helped to un-box them and immediately had to try them out! Soon after approximately 20 8th grade students were in the library during their lunch period enjoying the bean bags for the first time. I heard, "Wow!! Bean bags!" followed by calls of "I get one!" Students use the new seating options to lounge on while reading, drawing, and internet surfing using chrome books. Several times they have grouped the bean bags in a circle and simply enjoyed friendly camaraderie.

Please know that you have helped create a warm, inviting space for students to visit. So many kids feel awkward at this middle school stage in life and the library offers an alternative to the crowded, loud gym or court yard areas here at our school. Blessing to each of you!!”
