Goals Setting Planners - Planning Beyond the Quarantine.
Funded Jul 16, 2020This pandemic has affected all of us at different levels. Our families have been making ends meet as many of them are unemployed due to the current situation that we are living in. Your donation has made a big impact on our students by providing them with useful materials needed for our day to day classes.
Our students were very excited to receive these items in October as school opened up after its shut down last March. They were very grateful to receive school supplies to help them get by during our "not so normal" school days.
Thank you for your donations!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Payano
This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 8 other donors.Special Graduation Day Delivery!
Funded May 1, 2020Last year in June your kind generosity made a big difference in our eighth graders' lives. I asked the students to a message for you, and they say -
"Thank you for all of the stuff you have provided for all of us! It means a lot especially since all of the events we were looking forward to such as our senior trip, prom, and graduation were canceled due to the pandemic.
We really appreciate all of the work you have done for us. We hope that the people you donate to will open their package with a smile on their face :). Once again, thanks for everything and have a great day! PS: stay safe :)"
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for making this project come to life.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Payano
Printer for Foreign Language Lab
Funded Mar 9, 2016I would like to take this time to thank you for funding the printer to our Spanish Lab. My students are still saying 'thank you, Ms. Marte" for making their printing tasks much simpler.
I have had a vast amount of students working at home on projects as well as in class and they truly appreciate having a place to print at their disposal.
I am truly blessed to see the impact that this funding has had on students completing their work and being able to print assignments for my class and other subject areas as well.
We thank you from the bottom of our hears for taking your time to fund our project and for your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Payano
Enriching Foreign Language Acquisition with Rosetta Stone
Funded Sep 12, 2013When the students were notified that we were funded with the Rosetta Stone project they were super excited. Both Spanish and non-Spanish speakers were excited because they knew that the program would help each one of them individually at their current Spanish level.
At this point the computer lab is not set up in my classroom yet. However, students have been using the program in our school's computer lab and then they debrief and engage in activities related the topic that we are currently covering in class after we return to class.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Payano
