• Snacks = A FULL School Day Attendance 4 High Schoolers

• Service Club Gears Up For Giving Season With Food Drive

• Elementary School Students make a Difference

  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind generosity!

  Your donation allowed for student council members to receive a personalized gift for their hard work during last school year.

  I chose a bracelet with an inspirational quote with hopes to give them strength and confidence every time they look at it. I also chose personalized water bottles with an inspirational quote.

  During each weekly meeting, they bring new ideas to implement and projects to carry out which make a difference in our entire school community.”

• Hard Work Pays Off

  After receiving the materials I was able to put together a pizza party celebration for the student council to celebrate their accomplishments and impact for he school year. They were excited, amazed, and very appreciative of the gesture.

  The student council students worked very hard during the school year to make a school a happy place for students to go to each and every day. We hosted many school wide activities in order to make this happen. We conducted surveys to gather information from students in order to inform our next steps or activities to plan out.

• Snacks... Get Students Through the Morning Learning Session

  Funded Sep 20, 2022

  Thank you very much for supporting our project. Your donation contributed to snacks distribution to middle school students during the mid-day time frame, for a period of 3 months.

  Students were very happy to receive the snacks. Snack time is essential for our students since their assigned lunch period is at one o'clock in the afternoon. This mid-day snack re-energized and refocused students.

  The school usually provides a light snack for them. However, these snacks were a lot tastier than their normal snacks. They were ecstatic to receive the.”

• A Printer Brings 'Student Work' to Life

  My students have benefited tremendously from our brand-new printing station. Prior to this project getting funded there was a high amount of work not being turned in due to the lack of resources at home.

  Students are thrilled to be able to print their work for display in the classroom. Students who do not have access to printers at home have expressed their gratitude.

  Not only do they use the printer to print work for my subject area. I allow students to use our station to print out work for other subject areas as well.”

• A High School Send-Off Gift for My Student Council 'Seniors'

  Funded May 25, 2022

  I would like to thank you for donating to my posted project. The students received their gifts wrapped beautifully during their graduation ceremony. They loved the items in them.

  In addition to the echo's I was able to get funding for other cool items such as bracelets for the girls and t-shirts for the boys. I also purchased an inspirational book for each of them.

  This send-off gift was unexpected for them all and they were super appreciative of the gesture.

• Middle School Holiday Luncheon

  Our luncheon was a success. Students were super excited to have the opportunity to socialize in a non academic form with one another. They were even happier because of the feeling of a restaurant visit we gave our school luncheon location.

  We decorated the area where the students were going to sit to mimic a restaurant. It was so well organized and executed.

  The catering Mexican restaurant gave students a pre-fixed menu to use as the conversated in Spanish as we role-played the order each student was going to place.

• Printers Make Our World Different

  Funded Nov 8, 2021

  Prior to getting this Donors Choose project funded my students did not have a way to print any assignments we worked on in class. I found myself many times printing the assignments for them and there were occasions where I could not print at all due to supplies shortage at my school. Now, my students are super happy to have all their projects printed and showcased in the classroom and outside bulletin boards.

  The most current project they worked on was a "movie viewing assignment" they enjoyed the new Disney movie "Encanto". They were able to complete an assignment based on the movie and they were super happy to see their final product displayed.

• Comfy Seats for Hybrid Learning

  Thank you very much for your donation. The seating has helped out a great deal in the dynamics of my classroom. The students love to sit at the designated areas and enjoy the flexible seating. Flexible seating allows specific students to work at their utmost potential and increases their work execution, as well as attention span to the task bing, worked on.

  Having my students focused on the desired task is my goal for each lesson. Thank you for adding this component to the seating arrangement witing my classroom.”
