Your continued support of all things for mental health is so gratefully appreciated. Thank you so very much for your support of our PBSIS program. Instead of ice cream, we had cookies and hot chocolate during February for our Marking Period 2 Academic Aces students.
These students were rewarded for being a great example to their peers at the school. They were nominated by their teachers not just for doing well in school, but for being an example of responsibility, respect, success, and all of the other pillars of our PBSIS program.”
Thank you so much for these Coding Critters. These photos are of the STEM night we were able to use them at before all of the pandemic stay-at-home started. We had a fantastic time moving these robots around on the floor and having these young people learn how to code. We also brought the high school robot to the event and the students were able to drive the big robot as well.
All of the young students were so excited about these Coding Critters. They were a simple interface so they could successfully code them to move around on the track. We also had lots of other STEM activities the students could do, like marshmallow catapults and binary bracelets. We hope to use them again in the fall.”

Thank you so much for these lights. It is difficult to see in the pictures, but we had an entire wall of lights that we were photographing in front of during our robotics events. These lights were then brought back to the high school where we were in the process of installing them on the doors when the Covid-19 pandemic hit and we had to go to distance learning.
We are likely going to a hybrid model in the fall, so we hope to light up all of our classroom doors with these lights to encourage our students to shine bright in the middle of this unique situation. We will also pass some around to other buildings to use as part of our ONEClifton initiative.”

Thank you so much for sponsoring our middle school robotics squad. These students had a great time at our tournament and they competed admirably. They were able to score in the top 25% of the teams and they were in the running for multiple awards, including imagery, team spirit, and coopertition. The robots were very exciting and judges said that this team really acted like a family with positive spirits towards each other.
Thank you so much for helping the team compete this season and we look forward to next year with the future scientists and engineers.”

Our students are very grateful for these supplies. We have been using the blue and red clipboards with storage to take notes on various topics and to take around with us when we go to different parts of the building. We are able to keep all of the fancy pens and markers with us.
The students have also made graphs and been using the 3-hole punched graph paper regularly in class. This makes it a lot easier to take notes and then keep our notes stored in their 3 ring binder.
Finally, the purple steno notebooks are of excellent use in the robotics warehouse. We have been using it to take notes and create drawings. Everyone knows who the drawing is from because this group has the purple paper.
Thank you so much.”

Thank you so very much for supporting this project. We have used it about 10 times now this year with different classes. They have really enjoyed learning about emergency situations and how FEMA and others help during natural disasters. One group was incredibly excited to do the physics involved in dropping rescue packages from a helicopter to a specific location. They were shocked at how difficult it was to predict exactly where it was going to land and a few times they "tested" their theory and it landed in a river or on top of a tree.
We have had a wonderful time with this STEM activity set and hope to use it again in the future. We will likely use it during our summer programs.”

Thank you so much for our new sweatshirts. I am so thankful that each of our students was able to receive one of these shirts and that they are working so hard at being high quality student athletes. They loved their new hoodies and t-shirts and have been working very hard to master their sport and to become a great team.
Thank you for keeping us warm in this crazy weather and for making sure that each of our student athletes is given the same opportunities and uniforms. We are so grateful that you sponsored our group and the students love their cozy Clifton Athletics sportswear.”

Thank you so much for our glow stuff and for our cool tape and lights. We had such a wonderful time over Halloween and putting on our spooky performance. We were able to have 600 students come and visit us, dance in our robodance party, build in our LEGO room, and crawl around in our maze.
We have been working with the elementary schools to make a safe, happy halloween extravaganza and your donations helped us keep everyone safe, secure, and happy. This was a wonderful outreach event and all of the performing arts group enjoyed being in their costumes and lighting up the night.”

We use gaff tape for everything. We use it to put down carpet and to line the edge of sharp things. We have used it in the past to fix our robot bumpers or to cover wires on the floor. This year, we used this gaff tape and glow in the dark tape at our Halloween performance and other performances throughout the fall. This tape was incredibly useful. We have a few roles of the colored tape left and we plan on using it all up during the spring season.
Thank you so much for making our plays a success and for giving us this tape that is safe for our floor and dancers.”

My school has a diverse population of students, many of whom have parents that are not native English speakers. We have Title 1 elementary and middle schools which feed into our 4,000 student high school. Many of our students will be their families' first generation to attend college.
