Better Appearance, Better Grades, Better Students

It is with much anticipation and excitement that we have awaited a fully functional washer/dryer for use in our school. As a school community we strive to provide our students with any necessity we can and it is in that spirit that the idea of getting a washer/dryer came to be. For as much as we want to provide to them, we can only do what we can here in the school during the school day. The addition of the washer/dryer has enabled us to provide a very real and necessary service to our students: self esteem. If a child does not have access to clean clothes, they are less likely to attend school, less likely to want to learn and less likely to succeed. This one thing that we can now provide, thanks to all of your generous donations, will leave a lasting impression on students for years to come.

Once the program is fully up and running, we expect not only participation by those students in need, but also by those students who want to help by contributing their time and energy in supporting the school and their fellow students, cultivating an environment that encourages community, contribution and care.”
