Students use Chromebooks almost daily in my class, and they prefer to watch the videos I have for my class at their own pace. Headphones would greatly help my students who need read aloud modifications. We also utilize text to speech apps that help my students work through the content and help with their reading levels.Students don't want to use the text apps when it is playing out loud because they fear other students will make fun of their reading skills. Some of my students utilize the headphones to stop any outside distractions and help them focus on their work by playing an approved selection of music.
