  Thank you so much for your generous contribution towards air filtration, air filters, and a swamp cooler so that kids can learn and work more comfortably and safely! We appreciate it and hope this extra layer of viral mitigation provides additional safety to our classroom, for students, as well as for staff. Being able to safely work and learn is incredibly valuable, especially as we continue to close gaps from learning missed during COVID. Every child deserves to feel welcomed in their school and valued for who they are and how they identify.   Today, more than ever, it is important for our students to be exposed to diverse literature that mirrors their experiences or offers them windows into the lives and experiences of others. Students need to know that they are all represented in the classroom, and being able to listen to a read-aloud book and see their feelings reflected in the pages as they listen is a way to help them feel less alone.
