Building Teamwork, Creativity and Imagination!
Funded Jun 21, 2023Thank you so much for donating to Building Teamwork, Creativity, and Imagination! My students were so excited to have access to all these great materials. We have been using them in the classroom during Choice Time, STEM projects, and art activities.
My students have been making all different designs using the MagnaTiles including a replica of a castle from the book we've been reading. They have been making various bracelets, keychains, and necklaces with the beads. And they have been using the water color paints to create paintings that go along with our Book of the Month.
Thanks to your generous donation, my students are having a lot of fun learning. They get to use their imagination and creativity. Thank you!”

Learning With TPT!
Funded Aug 16, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation! I have been using the TeacherPayTeachers gift card to purchase valuable resources for the classroom. These resources include lessons and activities for social emotional learning, supplementary lessons and graphic organizers for writing, and math center work.
In SEL (social emotional learning), my students have been learning a lot about the brain, specifically certain parts of the brain and their roles such as the prefrontal cortex "wise owl," the hippocampus, and the "guard dog" amygdala. Knowing how their brain controls their thinking and actions has helped my students understand their feelings better and learn how they can regulate their emotions. This wouldn't have happened without the amazing resources I found on TeachersPayTeachers.

Funded Sep 25, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students and I are putting all the materials to good use.
When my students first saw the blue bean bag chairs, purple bouncy ball, and purple mats, they were so excited! They couldn't wait to try them out! Even though it's been a few months, my kids love sitting in their comfy spots. They get to choose which comfy spot they will sit in every day. They've gotten really good at choosing a spot where they will do their best learning. The various seating options give my students more choices in the classroom and add fun to their day.
Along with the different seating options, my students are also really enjoying the trampoline. During their breaks in between periods, my students take turns jumping on the trampoline, which gives them a chance to move around.
Also, the Legos have become a class favorite. My students have the option of playing with Legos during their break time. They've gotten really creative. They have created treasure chests, boats, tanks, and sky scrapers! It's been awesome to see how innovative and imaginative they can get.
This has been a tough year with so many changes, but thanks to your generosity, my students and I have been able to enjoy our time in the classroom. We are making this the best year yet. Thank you!”

Type It Out!
Funded Aug 13, 2019Thank you so much for donating to the project, Type it Out! We use the Chromebooks everyday. My students go onto an interactive online learning program called iReady, which supports them in both reading and math. We have also been using the Chromebooks for research on 9/11, which is the topic of our research paper. Not only that, we use the Chromebooks to review topics in math, reading, and social studies.
I'm excited to use the Chromebooks for so much more. I would like my students to create projects using the Chromebooks and complete classroom activities like digital room escapes on the Chromebooks. The possibilities are endless!

Funded Sep 1, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donation. Now that we have two smaller tables (instead of one big table), it not only saves precious classroom space, it also helps both teachers meet a small group at the same time. It is life changing!
Although my students didn't realize the change in the classroom when we first got the tables (kids can be so oblivious sometimes!), once we told them, they were all surprised and agreed that it was a much better change. They enjoy sitting and working in a small group with a teacher. Working with a teacher at the tables has been helping the academic progress of my students as well as helping them stay more focused. The tables also make it easier to meet with students one on one and to get to know them a little better.
This year is just beginning. My students and I are having so much fun learning together. There is a lot we want to do - creating, reading, writing, discussing, and so much more! We will need your help to make it all possible. Please be on the lookout for our next project...whatever that may be! And thank you once again for your contribution to our classroom :)”
