  • A Bag Of Love

    Funded Jul 20, 2021

    Mere words cannot express the depths of my gratitude. However, the look on my students' faces, when they saw the "Bags of Love", touched my heart. My students were grateful and elated to learn how much we care about them, both mentally and physically.

    I also decided to add another component to their "Bags of Love", so I ordered face masks and Breast Cancer Awareness pink camouflage bracelets to include in their bags. Again, my students were elated. Thank you for your continued efforts to help teachers to help students.”

    It is absolutely refreshing to observe students entering my class and exclaiming, "Ooooooo, Ms. Batiste, your room smells so good!" The aforementioned sentiments ring true each day in each of my classes. I am a firm believer that if your class is clean and it smells good, it creates a relaxing ambiance. When children are comfortable in their environment, they have a tendency to work more diligently and participate without hesitation. I, wholeheartedly, believe that aromatherapy promotes a positive environment that is conducive for learning. Thank you for your continued support.”

My Project encourages students to become better organized and better prepared for classes. Students will use all materials to organize and annotate guidebooks for English. Students will learn to better effective organize class work. In my twenty years as an educator, I have observed that students often struggle with organizing supplies, class work, and other activities. I try my best to help students become better organized to keep up with their work. I have often included parents to help me with starting a system with students to help them arrange their work and book bags. We can do this! We just need a little help with it!
