• Necessities to Keep Everyone Organized

• Incentives and Rewards for Our School's English Language Learners

  Learning a new language in a new country is not the easiest thing to do for a child. Giving them the help and motivation to succussed is what keeps a child growing. Positive reinforcement and attitude is key. Wit the wards, medals, stickers and reading buddies, they are encouraged to persevere. Thank you for giving use everything we need to encourage them to do better. Can't wait to have our English Language Learner Reclassification Assembly in May to give the trophies with awards honoring those who exited the program. Without you, this would be impossible.”

• Organization Is Key to Success!

  All the odds and ends that teachers need each year add up to cost us a fortune. Things like highlighters, pens, markers, post-its, binders, and much more just cost a fortune to get year after year. However these are the necessities we need to maintain organization and do our job more efficiently. I was beyond blessed to have had these materials provided to me through your generous donations! I feel at ease knowing that I have what I need and and being supported by strangers just to make education more impactful for all. Thank you for helping me get what I need. • In Need of a Laptop to Teach in Class!

  This laptop has by far been the best thing I've ever! I've had multiple laptops in the past, but this one is perfect vin so many ways. It's size, touch screen, the durability and the fact that I can use it as a tablet is just priceless. And the battery life is amazing, I charge it every other day!! It truly has made a big difference in my daily duties.

  Thank you for giving me this gift to use at my school. It has made everything so much easier on me as an educator. Laptops tend to be expensive so I am very thankful that you helped me get this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

• Students Need Help Accessing Materials for Independent Work Time

  Thank you for helping me get the filing cabinet we need to organize the materials we need access to when working with children or helping them during targeted instruction. This has been a lifesaver for myself and my assistant. We have set the norm to make things more accessible for all. We are now working on ways to help create a better system.

• Space for Children to Go to for Assistance

  The exciting feeling we get when getting our Donor's Choose boxes feels just like Christmas morning. We were grateful to get this shipment specifically because it contained material for our dear assistant to have a little corner to make her own. This space has been essential in our room. It is a place where my assistant can help children with their struggles and get all the clerical stuff ready for our classroom. She FINALLY feels like she has a place to call home and that's thanks to you!

  I always have the great ideas to make things great for our class but don't have the means. Without your support, my visions would not be possible. Thank you for supporting this teacher in brining things to life! Without your constant support this would be impossible.”

• We Need Some Odds and Ends

  Thank you for helping me get the basics to get my school year started. I normally spend about $1000 per year on my classroom. With your help, this year I won't have to break the bank to get the necessities I need to do my job. The binders, the post-its, pens, and markers are what I needed. I share them with my assistant and my students on a daily basis.

• Oh the Places They Will Go!

  Thank you for supporting me in making my vision a reality again this year. Each year I love gifting my 5th graders something that they will cherish forever. This year I did customized cups, hats, a bracelet, and of course the "Oh the Places You'll Go" book. This year in the book I inserted a QR code of our class video so that the children/families can scan it anytime and watch our year foul of memories. These books are very expensive for a teacher to buy for 25 students, I am great full that you helped me get them for my children. The love they felt was beyond expected. Thank you again!”

• Withdraw and Deposit, Help Us Learn About Financial Literacy

  Thank you so much for filling up my prize box for children to purchase items with the money they save up in their registers. They are more motivated now to do better and earn "more money" to get the new prizes we have in store. (Check out the paper registers I use in my classroom.) These items will be available for this year's students and the 5th graders if next year as well. • Reading for the Soul

  Thank you so much for donating books to my classroom. These books have brought a lot of diversity and exposure to experiences that the children might not be familiar with. It was amazing to read some of the books and do some activities with them. Teaching other students about growth mindset, emotions, diversity, kindness, and much more is essential in an elementary setting. We are only a third way through the books you have donated. Can't wait to share all the rest with them and build lessons around them.
