Keep 4th Graders Organized with Seat Sacks
Funded Aug 3, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity! Your support has made an immediate and meaningful impact in our classroom. When my students first saw the new storage units, their excitement was contagious. You should have seen their smiles when they placed their books, supplies, and personal items neatly in their own designated spots. One student even said, *"Now I know where my things go every day!"*—a small but powerful moment that brought a sense of belonging and responsibility to our learning space.
Beyond organization, these resources have helped create a calmer and more structured environment where students can focus on learning. With less time spent searching for lost materials, we've been able to dive into projects more smoothly. Recently, we started a writing project where students share their experiences in both English and their home languages. Having an organized space has helped them feel more comfortable and ready to express themselves. Next, we will be working on a kindness initiative, where students will create "compassion cards" for their classmates, encouraging a supportive and welcoming community.
Your generosity has given my students not only essential materials but also a sense of ownership and pride in their classroom. Thank you for making a difference—we are so grateful!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Smolenski
