Motivation Assistance !
Funded Nov 6, 2023I wish that I could upload some photos of our students when they get the opportunity to get a treat from the PBIS (and DonorsChoose!) treat cart! This cart has been a part of our school year for a few years now and it only gets better and better thanks to the kind and generous donations from those who give to the projects here. The snacks that the donations allowed us to purchase have made a huge difference. The staff is also hugely appreciative that the kind donors here at donorschoose support us with the kind of donations that allow us to buy these kinds of treats. We, on our own, would not be able to provide this high level of delicious and nutricious snacks for our students.

Snacks Keep us Sane and Smiling!

The PBIS Snack Cart is extremely motivating for all the students and reminds them to be caring, kind, and cooperative! The snacks that we received thanks to you were the source of many, many smiles from our students! Every one loves to see the PBIS Snack Cart coming down the hall. This is the kind of thing that we would not be able to do as often as we like without the kind contributions from the donors on donorschoose.org. Funded May 9, 2023We appreciate very much all the generous donors of donorschoose.org who come here to help our classrooms across America every day! We have been the fortunate beneficiaries of so many wonderful grant funding opportunities and we continue to be so very thankful for it. Thanks especially to Sonic on this project who supplied a 50% match donation that enabled us to quickly finish up our project in time for the end of the school year celebrations! These snacks will be part of more than one of our fun activities to wind up this year of learning. Several of the chips and other snacks were put into the PBIS Snack Cart which made its way into every classroom. Students and staff alike are always happy to see the PBIS Snack Cart rolling and thanks to donorschoose.org and the wonderful people who contribute to it, our cart is very well stocked right now!

Funded Oct 5, 2022We would like to thank you, so much, for the generous donations that allowed us to be able to acquire smoke detectors! We always use Fire Safety Week in October to educate our students on the importance of Fire Safety and of having working smoke detectors is a vital part of that teaching.
We sent our surveys to our families asking them about their Fire Safety practices and about having smoke detectors. Using the information on the surveys, we were able to supply smoke detectors to the families of our students who were in need of them!
Thank you again, so much, for giving to our project so that we were able to do this.

See Super Smiles With Simple Snacks
Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project. The snacks that were purchased for this project provide such a positive impact on both our students and our staff! You might be surprised as how something as simple as a little snack can really brighten up someone's day - but, I have seen it happen -over and over again- thanks to your generous help. We wheel this cart out to celebrate so many fun things: Character Counts Week, PBIS Appreciation, and sometimes just because! This is just the sort of thing that can only come from generous donations from you, even though, snacks for fun should be included in every school budget!

Funded Apr 8, 2022Thank you so much for your incredible generosity! These games have added so much to our LIbrary. So many students really want to learn how to play chess and now with all these sets we can have several games going at once and we are thinking about a tournament! The dominos are very much in demand and the students are loving them! We are already thinking about getting another backgammon set because of how much they like it! These games are the types of resources that enrich a student's school day so much. They are also the kind of resources that are not immediatley seen as essential to learning and would, therefore, not necessarily be something that would be supplied to classrooms. Donorschoose provides such a tremendous service to teachers and school systems all over the nation by making it possible for teachers to add the exact - even if sometimes unconventional - resources that will help their students succeed and thrive - not only at school, but in all environments. Every time I get a project funded, I am so thankful and every time I also feel like there are absolutely no words to properly convey the gratitude. Thank you so very, very much!”

Funded May 17, 2022We are very thankful and grateful for your kind donations to our project for uniform shirts. We try to keep a boutique stocked for some of our students who may be without uniforms or who may need to change their shirt in the course of a day. We depend a lot upon donations and many times it is the very large sizes of which we are most in need. These shirts will be a wonderful addition to our boutique so that we will have the right size for all the students.

Funded Mar 26, 2022This was just the most fun and awesome project ever! These wonderful games brought so much joy to so many of the students AND the staff members who just had so much fun! We had the best Spring Fling ever thanks to your kind and generous donations that allowed us to get this incredible basketball shooting game, a ping-pong table and a giant Connect Four game. We are going to have great fun with these three big games for a long time to come. We already have the students asking when we can bring out the big games again! We would NEVER have been able to get this without DonorsChoose and the magnificent and generous people who contribute to the projects.

Snacks for Smiles!
Funded Apr 7, 2022I am now officially known as the Snack Lady! That is OK with me! Snacks really do make people smile and what is better than that! Look at all these wonderful snacks that your generous donations got for us - it is just beautiful! Without your generosity none of this would be possible and that would've been a real shame. Thank you so much for contributing to our project to get all these great treats. I loaded up a library cart with colorful bins and then loaded up the bins with all the great snacks and pushed the cart through the halls handing out treats for all! I have to tell you that the adults were just as excited to see the Treat Cart coming down the hall as the students were. I wish I could show you the faces of the students as they looked everything over to make their choice - and so many times they were given the opportunity to get even more than one treat and that just made the smiles get even bigger. I am afraid now that I am going to have to start making this a regular thing and so do not be surprised if I create another project for Snacks for Smiles to keep all those great happy smiles coming! A million thanks for your kindness!”

Funded Nov 30, 2021I am so happy to report that these books are a huge hit with so many students! Because of your generous donations we have been able to add some really great and loved titles to our collection. The students all love Dr. Seuss and, it seems, that one is never too old to enjoy his wonderful books! The Capital Mysteries are proving to be popular also! All the Mo Willems books are always in demand and it is thanks to you that we are able to have these new books for our students to read and come to love. Thank you so much for everything you do to support our students and thank you for helping us reach our goal. I cannot say enough nice things about donorschoos,org and all of the wonderful people who come here to help students time after time!
