  • A Fresh Start

    Funded Aug 2, 2024

Thanks to your generous donations, my staff and I are able to create tons of memories for families to look back on in the future. As tiny humans develop into their Individuality, recalling the beginnings brings joy to the heart. The students are engaging with the materials comfortably as we maintain a clean environment.

Upon seeing the materials, some students were elated to jump in while others were slightly hesitant due to the new experiences. As we continue to move forward throughout the school year, we will produce memories to last a life.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Matthews

  • Technology Is the Future

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in helping my students and future students to engage in meaningful activities. This device will aid in their technological advancement by introducing them to new skills that they will use throughout their educational journey. Additionally, I will be able to access virtual professional developments to improve my craft and create activities, bulletin boards, and more. Already I have created personalized gifts for students and designed my classroom bulletin board. I look forward to expanding its use.”

  • Creative Masterminds

    Funded Oct 13, 2023

With your support, we (the teachers) of room 34, have been able to provide each student with personalized gifts for Christmas. We have also created a unique bulletin board to demonstrate what we are learning. As stated for our reasoning for acquiring these tools, we will be able to continue personalizing crafts and developing ideas to display unique creations.

Upon seeing the bulletin board, students were amazed. Seeing the colors and large words. I am completing this impact letter before they receive their personalized gifts but I can only imagine their excitement when they receive their gifts from classroom teachers. Thank you for your support in bringing joy to their educational experience.”

  • Express Yourself

    Funded Aug 27, 2022

The resources provided are supporting the students learning as they increase their knowledge in science, fine motor, and the arts. The collage pots were used to watch a seed grow into a plant. We also used baby pictures of the students to represent the seed and them as they are now to demonstrate how we grow. We are using the wrist/ankle bells to enhance our winter performance. The pom poms, pony beads, and tissue paper square help the students to create individualized art projects. The yarn lace tips support the students with threading as they sew and lace items. These are just a few examples of how your generosity IS supporting the growth and development of each student in this class. We thank you so much!!!”

  • Showcasing My Skills

    Funded Apr 6, 2022

Your generosity has made a huge impact on student learning in the areas of letter awareness and life skills. The initial reaction of the students when the were to engage with the alphabet bowling was one to remember. Through this activity, they developed turn-taking skills and learned to regulate their emotions. Additionally, they encourage their peers to "knock'em down." The drying rack has assisted the environment with having a safe place to put our expressive work to dr. Not only that, it has doubled as a secure place to allow our table trays to dry after cleaning. These tools teach students that their is a time and place for everything. Thank you again for your support.”

  • Time to Shine

    Funded Mar 3, 2022

Your contribution to our new resources have supported student growth in alphabet awareness, time management, organization, and repurposing materials. With the support of the stand up magnetic center, our students have demonstrated their skills of spelling words and identifying letter sounds. The laminating pouches have been used to create long lasting questions of the day as not to waste paper. They have also benefitted the classroom when creating and maintaining the appearance of sample activities. Our giant classroom timer helps to keep us informed about the time remaining and transitions. Unbreakable craft jars are helping us to maintain a clean and organized environment. Thank you so much for generosity.”

  • Play to Learn

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

The maze puzzles have been helpful in supporting the students to develop and express their knowledge of alphabets, colors, and shapes. As we explored the colors of buildings and recognized the letters in signs and symbols, our learning was expanded. The cuddle ball met the needs of individual students who needed the extra support. With these resources added to our classroom, the staff has been able to assess comprehension through motivating activities.

Seeing new materials when in small groups was an exciting treat to the students. They were anxious to dive in and manipulate the puzzles. Some were comforted by having an additional option for self-regulation. New materials are new opportunities for growth.

Next steps for my students is to continue expanding their learning through everyday experiences while using individualized tools and resources that best meet their needs. As we move forward into various themes, the students will engage in more interactive learning and receive more purposeful and intentional teaching.”

  • Customized Learning

    Funded Nov 28, 2021

Thank you for being so supportive with specific materials to customize the learning for these new scholars. When the students enter the room to begin the morning routine, the visual countdown timer is set to show them when it is time to stop whatever they are doing and clean up. This timer also indicates that we are now officially getting started with our day. Upon first seeing the "new light," students were unsure of its significance since everything in the room serves a purpose. Once it changed colors, they knew that something was supposed to happen, and here is where the learning began.

The TPT gift cards have been beneficial when acquiring teaching materials tailored to specific content. It also supports other teachers as they share unique ideas and strategies to help students meet individualized learning goals. As the students interacted with materials purchased through teachers pay teachers, they showed excitement with how the content was related to the overall theme. Activities are likely to become dull when repeated, but when they can change with the environment, they can discover how we use the content learning in our everyday lives.

The next step for our young scholars is to become more proficient when communicating wants, needs, desires, and ideas. My students have a lot of knowledge to share, and we want them to be conscious and courteous of their actions and words. Again, we thank you for your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Matthews
