  • I Can't Hear It!

    Funded Jul 9, 2023

I would like to once again extend my deepest appreciation to you for your generous donation to our classroom. Your donation has allowed my students to start the year with their own personal set of new headphones. We use these headphones several times during the day to complete online assignments, research projects and online assessments. The headphones allow students to focus on their own work and lessen the amount of distractions around them. This allows students to perform at their best ability. My students and I cannot thank you enough!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dees

  • School Supplies Needed!

    Funded Aug 20, 2021

As this school year begin in August, there was a lot of uncertainty due to COVID-19. I wanted my year to be as normal as possible but what was considered normal now? My students were excited as they always are when a new year rolls around. They examined their pencil boxes and the few supplies that were inside. Your package had not arrived at this time so they had the bare minimum. We begin our studies and I watched as my students cheap crayons and supplies would break as they completed their assignments. Their frustration level was really high. I told them about your generosity and the supplies you purchased for our class. From that moment on, they would ask if the package had arrived yet. My class was filled with excitement the day it came. They helped me unpack the items and I passed out the supplies. The smiles on their faces were wonderful! Their favorite item would have to be the colored pencils. They use them daily. I want to thank you for your generosity and giving to my classroom. You have helped my students experience a more "normal" year than they would have had without your gift. Your donation has really made the difference!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dees

  • Reading with Digital Books!

    Funded Aug 8, 2020

I want to thank you again for your generous donation. As everyone knows, this school year is one like we have never seen before. Students are required to wear masks, social distancing is needed and materials are not allowed to be sent home from school.

Your donation has helped my students break through some of the obstacles caused by the virus by supplying levelized and decodable readers. I am able to assign this books online to my virtual students and add them to my students classroom computers. I can also print student copies to take home for extra practice. Thank you again for helping my class!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dees

  • Headphones Needed!

    Funded Aug 4, 2019

I just wanted to say thank you for your donation. I received a set of headphones to use with our computers. This has impacted our class in so many ways!!

The headphones have helped my students with online activities. The new headphones allow students to focus on their activity without any distractions. It has been awesome for the class!

They also help with our online tests. The students take an assessment in Reading and Math once a month on their computers. The headphones allow them to be focused and perform at the best of their ability without any distractions.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dees
