Hello! My name is Miss Hannah and I am a first-year teacher! What an interesting year to be my induction year! I am working hard to provide a safe learning environment and need some help with purchasing some flexible seating items. These items are going to help my students sit at a safe distance from one another. This will help them focus on learning while staying safe and comfortable. It is my personal belief that students learn better in an environment they feel safe and comfortable in. It's my goal for my classroom to feel like home. I want my students to feel loved, safe, and inspired when they are in our room. I don't want them to be focused on staying at a safe distance. These flexible items will truly help with the distancing needing to take place and for my students (and my) peace of mind. The stadium chairs are perfect to provide comfy seating to my students. We are spreading out on the floor with some of the students having crates for desks. The floor cushions are so squishy and comfy for the students who can use lap desks! The lap desks are the perfect addition to my flexible seating arrangement. These will make learning mobile and my students without crates will have a portable desk in their seating area!
