• Sleeping Tight in Our Nap Mats

  Thank you again for your generous donations to my PreK classroom. The nap mats your support purchased were used by students in my class last year and some are being used by my current students. It felt so good to be able to give the students whose families weren''t able to purchase mats on their own these lovely brand new mats. They are so soft so the kids enjoy sleeping on them and they are also easy for the kids to wash/

  Next year I will be able to share the rest of the mats with some of my new students. It is wonderful that your generosity has touched so many students. I will be forever grateful.”

• Clean Up Our Art Center

  Thank you again for donation to my project to purchase a shelf to help us organize our art supplies in a way that they will be accessible to all of my students. The shelf and containers your donations bought have really made my Art Center better for my students. Now when the students want to do an art activity all of the paper and other supplies are easy to get to because they each have their own labeled spots on the shelf.

  The shelf is quality made and I know it will be storing and organizing art supplies for years and years and we will be grateful to you everytime we use it.”

• Books About Trees

  Thank you so much for all of the books your generosity provided my class with for our Tree Study. The books we received form the Department of Education were not developmentally appropriate for my class, but the ones Donors Choose purchased with your donations were perfect for them. The really enjoyed listening to the fiction and nonfiction books about trees.

  The best part about getting books donated to my class is knowing that they will be enjoyed by students in my class for years and years and this is because of you. And for that I will be forever thankful.”

  Right now our library is a bit of a mess because the shelves don’t accommodate the amount of books we have. As soon as the shelf arrives I will be busy organizing it so it will be perfect for my little readers.”

• Let's Read About All Types of Clothes

  We will start reading these books in December when we start a unit of study on clothing. There are so many good books in this collection some I know and love and some that I haven’t even read. I know my students will enjoy and learn a lot from them.”

• Rest Mats Need a Place of Their Own

  Thank you again for your generous support of my prekindergarten class. The blankets your donations provide have made nap time better.

  The students got to pick which blanket they wanted and we also got to share some with the other prek class in our school.

  Things have been tough for many of the families in our school. Making ends meet can be hard in New York City. Providing these blankets for the students allowed me to take it off our supply list, so parents had one less thing to buy.
