Building Create Our School Library!

Our students were excited from the first time they saw the list of books we would receive. While our generous donors donated, I had students checking daily asking if the books were in yet. Thanks to your support they didn't have to wait long and they were able to borrow books that were relevant and interesting before we got the library completely set up.

The goal of this was to build a library in our school and with the generosity of you and other community members we have succeeded. Though it may be small, the impact on our school will continue to grow. Students have been borrowing books they have never seen before, and finding new genres they never knew could interest them. A few of our students went from being shy and asking for a book, to coming regularly for books and recommending them to others.

I have included some before and after pictures in this thank you, so you can see the results of your generosity. We have taken an old conference room and turned it into a place for students. We have a workspace where they can study, couches to relax while they read and over 1000 different books for them to choose from. It would not be possible to express the thanks and excitement from our students in this letter, but please believe you have made a lasting difference in their lives.”
