• Extra, Extra, Speech Therapy Needs Supplies Too!

  Thank you for believing in my students and for your generous donation to my students' future in becoming effective communicators! I truly appreciate your generous donation and support in helping my students progress in their speech and language therapy programming! There are not enough words to describe how giving the gift of speech and language and communication and making it possible for my students to succeed! Communication is essential throughout the school day and in life! Thank you for providing me the opportunity to support my students with the basic supplies that are essential for providing organized, efficient, and effective speech therapy programming. The binders, binder pockets, and bins now provide me easy/quick access to speech therapy materials for each and every student's individual needs. There are not enough words to describe how giving the gift of speech and language to children can open up the world to them and make it possible for these children to succeed in school, enjoy communicating with peers and adults, and mostly live life.”

Each student that comes to me has specific and unique needs and it is so helpful to have organized materials to meet my students needs.

• Time to "Taco" About it in Speech Therapy

  Funded May 8, 2024

  My students in speech therapy sessions are using all your generous donations in so many fun ways. We have had so much fun using our new toys within speech sound activities and expressive and receptive language activities too. For example, students that are practicing their speech sounds had so much fun with the ducks while learning to say the /k/ sound at the end of their words. The language students used the same ducks while learning to use words to make requests and while learning to follow directions. My language students love using the erasers for categorizing, describing, and labeling activities and then the speech sound students use the same item as a reward when saying a target speech sound. All the items have been such a blessing and a help when working with all my speech and language students within their therapy sessions.”
