Tools for Success and Organization!
Funded May 6, 2024Mahalo for funding our "Tools for Success and Organization Project". It's a new school year and tools from this project are continuing to bless the kids in my class this year. My students are enjoying the giant interactive number line chart. We love that it is double sided! The students take turns pointing at numbers as they count by 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s. The organizer cart has been very helpful organizing supplies and things we need for class. The garment rack is perfect for holding up our pocket chart of our numbers. It has also served as a great holder for our giant chart paper! We are truly blessed! From the bottom of my heart, thank you again for continuing to support my students.”

Funded May 28, 2024Thank you so much for helping us fund our Nice and Clean Project! Materials from this project have helped us clean our computers, desks, door handles and whiteboards. My students are so thoughtful and helpful. They all want to clean and wipe down things in the classroom. They've become so motivated to keep our class spic and span. I don't know what it is but as soon as I pull out the container of disinfecting wipes most of them starts begging to help. Thank you for providing us the materials we need to help keep our students, staff and classroom healthy and clean. Mahalo for blessing us.”

Funded May 9, 2024Thank you so much for helping us get these school necessities for my students to use. We have enjoyed using the floor pillows as a special spot to sit on for reading but is also used in our calming corner. The numbered carpet markers have been very useful in managing our lines and assigned spots. They no longer have to fight on which dot they are supposed to stand on since they have assigned student numbers. Thank you so much for helping us manage our classroom by providing us with different seating options. Because of donors like you, our class is more effective and manageable. Mahalo again.”

Funded May 24, 2024My students love love love this project! Their favorite is the snap circuit! It was so cool seeing their faces light up when all the connections were correct! They made the lightbulb light up, change color, make music and make the propeller spin and lift off. I love this because it also challenged them to figure out the problem...why is the circuit not working? Did they all snap it correctly? Are the parts loose? I love seeing them work together to find out what the problem is and how to fix it.
They also enjoyed playing with the pixel art. They were so proud of their creation that every time they created something, they would always call me so see it or they would bring their creation to me to see.
We love how this project arrived two weeks before school ended! It was perfect timing!!! It was the highlight of our last week! Thank you for blessing us and allowing my kids to experience cool things!”

Funded May 7, 2024Thank you so much for funding our "We Can All Be Compassionate" project! When my class unboxed the packages we received, they were shocked to see the squishy animals for them to show compassion towards. They couldn't wait to hold them and they started decided who was supposed to care for them first.
They were equally excited to show compassion because they want to get the dinosaur hatching egg and slime as a reward. We love the books as well.
My students received their rewards the last day of school for showing compassion. They loved it! They were so happy. Thank you so much for blessing me and my students.”

Funded Feb 2, 2024Thank you so much for funding our Promoting Wellness project. My students were so excited to see all the different kinds of beads they have to work with. A couple students were amazed to see the bracelet makers and they were excited to share that they have the same exact ones at home.
My students love using the different markers to create kind and uplifting notes to others. It is awesome to see how arts and crafts can calm the body and relax the mind. (even my not so focused student was able to write something nice to someone) They would make little notes and shared it with friends and others during recess. To see the receivers reactions were priceless.
The excitement of working with the beads and creating something for someone made my students happy and more mindful about others. Everyone benefited. It was a win win. So thank you again for providing them this opportunity to serve others. Mahalo from the bottom of my heart. Aloha.”

Funded Feb 1, 2024Thank you so much helping us fund this project. My students loved seeing this big box being delivered by our vice principal. It was during their lunch time when our vice principal walked through the cafeteria with this big box. They asked, "Is that for our class?" When they came back from lunch recess, they were excited to see that the box was in our class and they were excited to share that they saw our vice principal carrying it across the cafe.
My students love using this easel! They can't wait to have a turn to use it because they just love being the "teacher" for their small groups. Whatever we are learning during the day, they reteach it with their peers during centers time or play time. Some prefer to reteach math, others prefer to reteach ELA. I just love seeing them play and learn at the same time.
We also love how it is two sided. When one group is teaching, another group is able to draw and doodle on the other side. It is so cool. Thank you for giving them this opportunity to play and learn.”

Let's Celebrate Lunar New Year 2024
Funded Dec 8, 2023Thank you so much for making this project come to life! We had a blast learning about Lunar New Year! We celebrated for the whole month of February! The kids loved the paper dragons and reading about their fortunes! They enjoyed our read alouds from all the Lunar New Year books in this project. We learned about the red envelopes and we were able to feed them to the Lion Dancers. We learned to say Happy New Year in Chinese and a couple of phrases. I wish I could post more pictures or even videos to show the excitement from my students' faces from this project.
I am so rom the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my class and my whole school have a memorable and wonderful Lunar New Year experience!”

Funded Jan 12, 2024Thank you so much for funding our "Help Our Little Learners Recharge" project. We have used these snacks as incentives, snack breaks in the middle of a lesson, they take home a snack before going home, and these snacks are also shared with our fellow first graders next door. Thank you for making these snacks available for my amazing little learners.
Every time we got a package delivered, they always got excited to see what's inside! We are so lucky to have generous donors like you. When they tell me they are hungry, I am grateful that there are a variety of snacks readily available for them to choose from. Thank you again for blessing us.”

Funded Jan 10, 2024Thank you so much for funding our "Snacks for Our Amazing Little Scholars" project! When the packages came and delivered to the classroom, I did not open them. So the following day, the kids were surprised to see the number of boxes that were stacked on top one another. We gave up our recess time to have an "unboxing" time! They had a blast! They were super loud from excitement and anticipation...squeals, oooohs and aaaahs, "we got this snack" and "I got this snack", is all you could hear them say when they opened and saw the contents of their boxes. They continued to have fun as they ended up playing with the big boxes the snacks came in. They hid in them, walked around the room with the boxes over their heads, and they sat in them like boats. They were hilarious to watch. They had so much fun. It made my heart super happy watching them portray JOY. Thank you for providing my students these experiences. From the bottom of my heart, mahalo. We are truly blessed because of you. Thank you again for supporting us.”
