In third grade, we learn about how we can use geographic representations (e.g. maps, globes) to understand geographic information. We would like to use Ozobots to learn more about maps. Ozobots are little robots that follow a color-coded path. The different colors and color combinations tell the Ozobot what it needs to do. Students will be creating a map of their neighborhood and use Ozobot to travel their maps. The Ozobot Construction Accessory Packs will be used to extend learning. Students can work collaboratively to design games and create challenges. The SuperScience STEM Instant Activities will be used to engage students in different STEM topics. Lessons will be taught to the whole class, and tasks and experiments will be done as centers for the students to work on independently.
