  • Comfy Comfort Corner

    Funded Mar 31, 2025

A MILLION thank yous for funding our project!

I am so grateful to you all. My students are going to be thrilled to see the new chairs and fidget toys. I am excited to have my students use Calm Strips especially when they feel anxious.

Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Essential School Supplies

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you for donating to my project. The supplies arrived in the first weeks of school, which was perfect. It was when the students needed many supplies the most.

The students were very excited to see the wide variety of colorful folders. The folders were the first to be handed out.

The organizer is so useful since I can have pens, pencils, rulers, glue sticks, and even bandages which are easily accessible to all my students. The sanitizing wipes are essential, especially in the winter season when students get sick.

Thank you again for your support, it is much appreciated.”

  • Comfy "Comfort Corner" Chair

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you so much for funding these chairs and fidget toys. My students LOVED the chairs. The chairs are so comfortable and cozy. The color is such a beautiful forest green.

The chairs have brought to life the comfort corner in my classroom. The students noticed the new chairs right away and wanted to try them out. Now many go straight to sit in them and some are disappointed that they didn't get to class earlier to be able to sit in it.

The students like the fidget toys as well. The box came with some unique items that the students enjoyed.”

  • Toner Ink for Academics

    Funded Dec 22, 2023

Thank you so much for funding the project.

Having the toner has been a blessing.

I am able to print IEP documents and not worry about running out of ink.

Every week, I print weekly planners for my students so that they can organize and prioritize their assignments.

Before having the extra toner, I was very cautious and always worried if I was going to be able to get another toner from the school. The school continues to lose funding so being able to have extra toner takes the stress off my back.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chavelas

  • Superb Supplemental Materials

    Funded Oct 19, 2023

Having access to Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has been so amazing. I found many great mathematical lessons and presentations that I taught in my class. I found a lesson about how to create a histogram. The lesson went well in my class and my students enjoyed it.

I also was able to find a fun activity that I used in my co-taught Algebra 2 class. The students were so engaged in the activity. It was great seeing the students work together and wanting to solve the math puzzle.

    I appreciate your generosity!”

  • Projector for Engagement

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I would like to thank you for making it possible to have a projector in my classroom. You do know what a difference it has made. I have been able to use it not only for math lessons but also for emergency drills like an earthquake drill presentation.

The project is very light and easy to transport from home to work. It's also very easy to set up and use. My favorite feature is that it has a lever to be able to project higher so that students are able to comfortably see the lesson.

I am utterly grateful to donors like you.”

  • Healthy Snacks

    Funded Dec 29, 2023

My 9th graders can not believe that there are people so generous to donate snacks to our classroom.

I have two students in particular that come to class and the first thing they ask for is a snack. They tell me they are hungry and will sometimes ask for two snacks instead of one. At the beginning of my class, I pass out snacks and then the students are ready to work independently on their assignments.

The Black Forest fruit snacks, granola bars, and the Goldfish are the favorites. My students are very appreciative of your donation.”

  • Calming Area

    Funded Feb 7, 2023

Thank you so much for helping create a wonderful "Calming Area" for my classroom. My students love the bean bag. As soon as they saw it they gravitated towards the bean bag. Students often go there to work on assignments. They also use it when they are having a bad day and need a space to relax.

The rug adds a nice touch to the space and I love the color of it.

I'm was very happy to see that the bean bag has a cover that can be washed if it gets dirty.

My students are very appreciative of your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chavelas

  • Germ Free Classroom

    Funded Dec 22, 2022

Thank you for donating the Clorox wipes and Kleenex boxes. The Clorox wipes are so great for keeping our room clean. We used them to clean our desks, clean and free of germs. We also use them to clean the chair and Chromebooks with are used constantly throughout the day. The Chromebooks are highly touched areas that need disinfecting

The Kleenex boxes are a necessity to have in the classroom, especially during the cold season.

The students are very grateful to have access to the Clorox wipes and the Kleenex boxes especially because we're in allergy season.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chavelas
