  • Classroom Necessities

    Funded Dec 14, 2023

Thank you for all your donations towards this project. This project has helped my students get more organized in the classroom. This project has helped in so many ways. All students are now able to have calculators that they can use in class and store them on the wall in the calculator holder. The calculator holder makes it easy to ensure all calculators have been returned. The binders and dividers have helped to keep all their papers together. The laminate tap allowed me to finish labeling things around the classroom, like folders, reusable water bottles, and cubbies. This project has helped to update our mailbox organizer in the class. The mailbox has helped to put kids' papers into their mailbox when needed. Now we have cardstock and pencils whenever we need them for class assignments or class projects. Thank you again for your generosity to help fund this project.”

  • Organization At Its Best!

    Funded Jul 17, 2023

Thank you for funding this project to help my students to stay organized. The students were excited to receive the materials at the beginning of the school year to help them stay organized in the classroom. The homework folders have helped keep my students organized in getting papers home and back to school. Also, the homework planners have helped my students write down their work for the day and share with their parents what they learned for the day. It also helps with writing down their homework and any reminders they might need. Thank you again for helping to fund this project for my students. It has made a world of difference.”

  • Gaining Knowledge Through Scholastic News Magazines!

    Funded Jul 28, 2023

Thank you for helping to fund this project for Scholastic News magazines for my students. The students love reading Scholastic News magazines. Students are able to learn about current events that are happening around the world. It invites them to broaden their worldview about stories that are told. We received two magazines a month for the students to read. It has helped to have the Scholastic News digital platform too for the students to log in to have their own accounts to read more magazines at their leisure. Scholastic News magazines have been a wonderful resource to have for my students to learn from. Thank you again for helping to fund this project.”

  • Staying Hydrated!!!

    Funded Jul 24, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to fund this project. The students were excited to get their bottles the first week of school. They have been able to have water whenever they need it. Students are able to get water at their convenience and stay hydrated throughout the day. The students are able to use the bottles when they go outside to play and have their water when needed. The bottles have been helpful to have for each student throughout the school year. It has helped with students not having to leave class to get water at the outside water fountain. Thank you so much for your generosity in making this project a reality for my students.”

  • Gaining Knowledge Through Scholastic Magazines

    Funded Oct 11, 2022

Thank you for helping to fund this project for my students. My students really enjoyed reading the Scholastic News and Math Magazines each month. They were always excited to read a new magazine every time a new one came in. Scholastic News and Math Magazine always had something new to learn. The magazine articles were always engaging and pushed the kids to think differently on a topic that they were learning.

Students always enjoyed learning about someone new who had made a significant contribution to society. They learned about current events around the world. They were able to take their math skills to apply them to a story that they were reading in Scholastic Math. Students were able to use the magazine in class and also read it online. The students were able to take what they were learning and apply it on to worksheets that were included with each of the lessons in the magazines.

Thank you again for helping our project become reality. We appreciate your generosity you have shown.”

  • Keep Us Hydrated!

    Funded Nov 16, 2022

Thank you so much for your support in helping our 6th grade class to receive reusable water bottles. Students were excited to receive their reusable water bottles to use for the year. Students remembered that the previous class had reusable water bottles too, so they were excited it was their turn to get them.

Students were able to fill them up each morning using the refillable water bottle station at school. Then they would use the water bottle any time they would need water throughout the day. These reusable water bottles were used until the end of the school year. Once the year ended the students were able to take them home to continue to use for personal use. Students were able to fill these water bottles up at the beginning of the day and help to cut down on interruptions in class to get water. Some students would take them outside to use to stay hydrated during recess or PE time.

The reusable water bottles were very helpful in keeping our students hydrated throughout the year. The kids were appreciative in receiving their own bottle to use. Our 6th grade students thank you for helping us with this project. This project wouldn't have become a reality for us if it wasn't for your support. We thank you again.”

  • Eliminating Paper in the Classroom

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Thank you for helping us get Kami this school year. Kami integrates with Google Classroom to work within documents to turn them into Google Classroom to be checked by the teacher. This works with all types of documents. As the teacher it allows me to take different single documents and merge them all together for one assignments. Kami has allowed our classroom to use less paper for assignments. In addition, it has helped the teacher to save time without having to copy papers for the kids. Students have been able to practice their typing this year and use more advance tools to submit assignments.

Kami has been a game changer and has allowed us to integrate more technology into the classroom. Due to your generosity and thoughtfulness it has allowed the students to learn to use technology in a different way for class assignments.”

  • Lights! Camera! Action! Visual Storytelling Through Filmmaking!

    Funded Dec 30, 2020

Lights! Camera! Action! Visual Storytelling Through Filmmaking! was a learning experience that I was able to take into the classroom. I learned a lot from the conference to bring the material that I learned to the students.

Students learned how to make memes. They were very clever at coming up funny memes. The students did stop motion animation projects using their objects of choice. They learned how to edit them and add titles to them. The students had a blast. Students learned about viral videos and made their own videos using Apple iMovie. It was a nice break from traditional learning for the students.

I can't wait to teach this next group of students stop motion animation, video making, memes, and more.”
