Hi there! The materials for this project will be used to give my students the experience of pastry arts. Many of my students are fans of Cake and Cupcake Wars, and also Master Chef and Mastery Chef Jr. but didn't think that "kids could do stuff like that for real". With your help, I can change that. I asked them if they would be interested in doing stuff like that for real and they were ecstatic about the idea. It broke my heart when once of them asked "But how are we going to get all that stuff?" I told them I didn't know but I would find a way or make one. My tiny humans are amazing little people and only have an art class once a week. I would love to give them the opportunity to not only have a second and third art class but to also teach them skills that they can also go back home and teach to their families.
By donating to our project, you are ensuring that each students will receive an individual set of all of the supplies they need to decorate two tiny human friendly desserts a week all while looking and feeling like a chef. Your donation will allow my students to dive deep into pastry and decorating while at school. We will learn about and decorate a different project (pastry and/ or dessert) each week and the students will be able to take them home once we are done!
