  • Supplies for 1st!

    I would like to start with a really big THANK YOU!!! These class materials are being used in many ways. For example, the anchor chart paper provides visuals for the students.. and they love recreating them!! We have used our math materials to provide hands on learning, the file folders have been used to make lap pads in Science and Social Studies! We have been about to take these simple but much needed materials to make learning fun and exciting. Again thank you for all your donations from the bottom of my heart!!”

  • Help Bring Technology to 1st Grade!

    I would like to thank you all again for your donations towards our project. It has meant the world to my students and makes are classroom function with ease. My students now have technology at their finger tips and are able to explore the world of STEM and so much more. Thank you again for helping our classroom grow in technology. With these for HP laptops the students are able to now have a technology center, where they have time to do AR or I-Ready. These laptops are building independent learners and providing them with everyday skills needed today! Thank you again for your donations :)”

My students would benefit from having these Chromebooks in the classroom because they will have access to many programs that enhance learning in reading and math. During "centers", the class is divided into groups and one of the centers is "technology" where students can work on programs such as iReady and Reflex Math. This technology will allow my students to learn using a strategy that is interactive. The Chromebooks will enhance their knowledge in math and reading while also improving their abilities to work with computers. The interactive games that many of these applications offer will keep them interested and motivate them to learn more.
