Hello! I am a teacher of Middle School Strategic Reading, and my classroom has recently retired some very often used student furniture. As a reading teacher, it is important that I provide a cozy and comfortable area for my students to enjoy their independent reading time. Unfortunately, the couch and rug we have used in the past were disposed of by the district over the summer, because they were old enough to be deemed unsafe. Considering that they were at least twice my age, I can't help agreeing, but I definitely need to find a means to replace these items to restore my classroom to its previous welcoming and comfortable condition!
