  • Playing Power

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

Thank you so much for helping once again to fund out project. It means the world to our class this year and for years to come. I have been blessed with projects being funded for over half of my teaching career now. I can't imagine my classroom with the support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • Getting Messy in 1st Grade

    Funded Feb 14, 2025

Thank you so much for your donations! These supplies will help our class so much. We have so many little messes that pick up over the day. We can address these little messes and not depend on our custodians who have a lot on their plates.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • SnackSmart: Fueling First Graders, One Bite at a Time

    Funded Nov 21, 2024

Thank you so much for the donations to our project, "SnackSmart: Fueling First Graders, One Bite at a Time." Our class has enjoyed the snacks that were provided in our project.

Each afternoon we have recess, and then have our snack. It helps everyone to feel energized and fueled for the end of our day. It is so important for children to have not only their brains filled with knowledge, but their bodies ready to learn.

Your kindness has shown our class that many people outside of their family care about them. Thank you again for your donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • Hanging Around in 1st Grade

    Funded Nov 21, 2024

Thank you so much for the donations made to our project, "Hanging Around in 1st Grade." With the donations made to this project, our class was able to have new hooks installed in the hallway.

The hooks that we had been using are plastic and easily fall off the wall, especially under the weight of winter coats. Our new hooks are metal and are much more secure and capable of handling heavier items.

The class was so excited to see our new hooks the day after they were installed. Our neighbor classroom has the same hooks, and now we are lucky to have the same hooks.

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • Preparing for the Future

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you so much for your support through the donations made to our project "Preparing for the Future." At the end of each school year, supplies are low. Unfortunately, teachers get very little money if any at this time of year to restock supplies for the school year.

With the donations made through this project, our class began the year with many of the supplies needed to hit the ground running. From pencils to card stock, to dry erase boards and laminating sheets, our class was ready for first grade.

Thank you again for your support.”

    Ms. Morgan

  • Glow as We Grow

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to our project "Glow as We Grow." We had so much fun with all of the materials in this project.

Our Glow Day was one of the last days of school, and I heard from many in our class that it was "the best day ever!" When the class arrived that morning, there were a lot of wide-eyed first graders and even some former students stopped by to look at all the amazing materials.

This project will keep glowing next year as I will be able to continue to use some of the materials with a new group of first graders.

Thank you again for your continued support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • Little Listeners

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations to our project "Little Listeners". It has meant so much to our class.

Throughout the day we use our headphones while listening to books and other materials during our reading lessons. We also use our headphones to complete math games and listen to science lessons.

We appreciate you thinking of our class. Sometimes the headphones that we got at the beginning of the school year break, and Ms. Morgan has extra headphones for us to borrow.

Thank you again for helping our class.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • Colorful Creations

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations to our project "Colorful Creations." The new printer arrived just in time to create our animal habitat projects. We each got to pick an animal that would live in the habitat we were studying. Then we used the printer to make copies of realistic pictures. The pictures added so much detail to our habitat projects.

The printer has also helped me in a pinch when I have needed a single copy of something in the classroom. I no longer have to find someone to watch the class while I quickly run to the copier.

Thank you again so much for your donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • Flexing Fine Motor Skills

    Funded Sep 18, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations to our project "Flexing Fine Motor Skills." Our class was so excited to start using all of the new materials!

During our small group math rotations, students have the opportunity to use what we call our "Busy Boxes." In these "Busy Boxes", they work on fine motor skills disguised as fun hands on activities. There are 16 boxes in total, which include using tongs to move pom-poms from one container to another, using lacing cards, sorting beads using tongs, and tracing different handwriting patterns.

Thank you again for making a difference in our class this year and for many years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan

  • Easier With An Easel

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for the donations to our project "Easier With an Easel." Our class has truly become easier with our new easel. Not only is our new easel bigger, it also has storage underneath for books and other materials needed throughout the day.

One of the ways we have used the new easel is to display a variety of math manipulatives especially during our current study of money. We were also able to use it during our addition and subtraction unit.

Another great use for our new easel combining it with magnetic handwriting strips. This allows us to see how to correctly form our letters and numbers.

Thank you again for your generous donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morgan
