I teach a truly, diverse group of third grade students. My students are very colorful and are often characterized as sweet, intelligent, impressive, helpful and honest. Most of my class receive assistance from the government. Even with these issues and struggles, when I look at my students, I see doctors, teachers, college graduates, CEOs and maybe a few drama queens and comedians. The one thing I know when I look at my students is that they simply deserve every opportunity because they care and they try!
