The library in our school is a learning space but also an area used for community building. Having a comfortable welcoming environment is important it helping student stress and emotional well-being. It is challenging to keep furniture clean with so many using the space. During another project, donors were kind enough to provide us with large bean bag chairs, but over time these have needed more then just spot cleaning can do.
These chairs are expensive and having covers that can be removed are the best way to be able to refresh the furniture. This will also allow us to continue to clean them and provide a healthy, clean environment to our students. Thank you so much for all you continually give.”

The school years during COVID were so difficult for students. Having our students come back to school and be able to rebuild a community was of the utmost importance. Girl Scouts has such a long and important history of supporting young girls in their growth, it was the perfect option to recover from the long absence.
Starting a troop can be costly and families can often not pitch in to cover these costs. Our city has a high level of poverty and while the students need the services, the cost can be prohibitive to parents. The generosity of this community has now made it possible for the girls of our school to enjoy all the fun and benefits that being a Girl Scout has to offer.”

My students and I are so appreciative of your generosity. It is amazing how the lives of the students can be improved with silly things like games. I can’t wait until they get to see everything on the shelves. It is always great to be able to tell them that they have all of you to thank.”

My students are incredibly lucky to have such generous supporters. It is so exciting to get a package and show them what has been gifted.
My students love puzzles and when a 1,000 piece puzzle is completed, it gets framed. Everyone wants their work on the wall and these puzzle pads will help them do that!”
I can never truly express the appreciation that my students and I have for the continued generosity over the years. Every donation makes such a positive impact on our whole community.
The students in my school are in a high pressure environment. The vast majority of our students are college bound and very driven. This past year we have had students attend Harvard, Yale, Brown and Howard. The stress these students carry at such a young age is unimaginable. Sometimes though, there are unexpected things that relieve some of their stress. In our school, puzzles are the unexpected thing. I am so happy to say that the new supplies they received brought so much excitement. It was so great to have new items to end the year with.”

I am so excited to see this project completed. My students take pride in doing large puzzles for recreation. They love to frame them to adorn the walls of the library. Framing them can get expensive! Thank you so much for helping us continue to show off their accomplishments! Let the puzzles continue!”
It is so important to build a sense of community in a school. Students spend a great majority of the week in these buildings with academics and extracurricular activities. The library is one of those common areas where all students come together. Students love to sit and use their down time chatting with friends. Puzzles are a great way to get them to take some quieter time and sit with their peers and friends. These are a regular fixture in my library.
The supplies you helped with will be used for many years to come and are so appreciated. My students and I thank you for your generosity.”
Thank you so much for your generous donation. There is so much illness in school that it is so important to keep the environment clean. School budgets are stretched things with classroom supplies so cleaning supplies often are from teacher's pockets. Having this extra help is so incredibly helpful.”

Our students live in difficult conditions and disadvantaged homes. Our high school is located in an urban area in Massachusetts. The school is small and the teachers are some of the most dedicated I've seen. We have a wide range of high school students. Some of our students have severe disabilities and others excel academically.
The library is brand new to the school. Students have not had the experience of having a resource to help them with education, recreation and support. Easy, fun reading is the best way to start off a lot of the kids and get them started. Encouraging them to read will give them more confidence and a window into the world.
