  • Reading With Nonfiction

    Funded May 18, 2021

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am thrilled as much as my students about this funding so I can support them in their reading with non fiction texts ! It is difficult to engage students at their reading level in these types of texts, and this will help develop their skills throughout the year.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cegelski

  • Together Through Technology

    Funded Aug 13, 2020

Thank you SO much for your donations!! These devices have helped my class an enormous amount. We have a class of eager, and enthusiastic learners, and now they all are able to access the technology needed for their individual learning goals. Especially during this unfortunate time because of the pandemic, technology has been essential more now then ever before especially in the classroom. These devices have made the transition from remote to blended learning a lot easier for these students in Second Grade. Thank you so much!!!”

  • Chromebooks To Keep Our Students Hooked!

    Funded Jan 11, 2017

Our students are so thankful from the generous donations in order for our class to access technology! We are able to successfully use our phonics centers to drive our instruction. The most effective way we do that is by using the technology you have provided for us! We are able to engage our students and differentiate the skill each student is working on. Many of our students are working on different phonics centers based on the level they are on, technology allows us to meet the needs of all our students in the classroom!

Chromebooks are a wonderful resource that make technology skills and the Internet more accessible. With our 3 Chromebooks, our students have quick and simple access to the online resources right in the classroom. The Chromebooks have helped enrich the education of a diverse population of learners in our classroom. We would quickly and easily get access to educational phonics and language arts websites and other resources.

Access to computers would allow for the children to interact with software that provides practice of the skills each individual is working on. It allows for project based learning in small groups from which students with various learning needs greatly benefit. Computers in the classroom do not replace children's experience with objects and materials but they have expanded the range of tools with which children can seek information, solve problems and learn at their own pace.”
