These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by expanding our library to include Caldecott books and expand different narrative perspectives. The bean bag and seats will make reading more comfortable and enjoyable for my students. We will be using the mailbox to stay organized throughout each day as we send home parent notes and student work.
The card stock will expand my reach as a teacher by being able to print high frequency words on sturdy paper so students can practice at home and master the essential vocabulary needed to grow their reading levels.
Dry erase markers are a high commodity mid year and are so essential as a means to enable learning through writing. Our pencil sharpener goes through high usage each year and the heavy duty one selected will make our writing more efficient by securing sharpened pencils each day.
