  • Sharpening Away!

    Funded May 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your incredible donations. The crayon sharpener as well as the pencil/colored pencil sharpener allow students access to tools such as crayons, colored pencils, and pencils, which makes learning so much easier and brighter! We can't wait to use these brand new tools each day. The sharpener makes a usually loud and distracting task quick and easy which makes learning easier for everyone. The colored pencils allow students to create charts to enhance and refer to in their own learning. The tape allows us teachers to display their posters for reference. However, we also use the colored pencils to create paired work which we hang in the classroom. The attached photos are some of the posters that are hung with tape for student reference as well as student work that has been created with the use of nicely sharpened pencils and colored pencils. Thanks again for all of your generosity. You truly make a difference!”

  • Rolling and Printing our Way into Learning

    Funded Jan 15, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity which has allowed us to bring our classroom to the next level. The color ink allows us to create differentiated materials and supports for our learners, which includes special education students and English Language Learners (ELLs). The charts are great for reference and help all learners. We love to hang useful charts throughout our room to support our learners. We have multiple vocabulary walls which are designated to different subjects. Our ELA and Mathematics vocabulary walls feature examples as posted with words, definitions, and visuals that make learning accessible to all. We love adding to and changing our classroom and materials to best support our learners. Thank you for your continued support!”

  • Exciting and Effective Group Work!

    Funded Dec 28, 2023

The rolling desk chair has made it possible to make group work and collaboration even better. Our learners are working together and we are able to work closely with them to provide the necessary support. The picture dictionary allows our English Language Learners (ELLs) to access a wealth of vocabulary across different topics. Students are loving working together, learning each other's languages, and expanding their love of learning. With these materials due to your generosity, our classroom has become even more accessible for all. Thank you for your continued support!”

  • Laminating for Learning

    Funded Jan 1, 2024

Thanks to so many wonderful and generous donors we now have a laminator, laminating sheets, and ink in our classroom. We are now able to print and laminate materials that can be used for so many different things. We are able to print differentiated materials for our diverse group of learners. We print engaging and interactive materials for all, however, we find it especially beneficial for group work as well as for our special education students and English Language Learners. This has introduced a new level of differentiation, creativity, and opportunity for interactive learning in our classroom for which we are all so appreciative. Thank you so much!”

  • Surf Desk Storage for Flexible Seating

    Funded Sep 26, 2023

We are so grateful for the donations. We were so happy to have this project funded. Our item was out of stock but we received a gift card to apply to a different project - chairs and a rug for small group work. We hope to create a project again for the surf desk storage once it comes into stock again. Our kiddos are so eager to have a classroom rug where they can engage in collaborative work similarly to the way in which they can with flexible seating. For now, we are using our surf desk chairs and keeping them organized as best as we can. Thank you so much again for your generosity!”

  • Reaching New Heights

    Funded Jun 26, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project. Your generosity has allowed us to maintain an organized, welcoming, inclusive, and well-decorated classroom for all. The step stool has made it so easy to display student work, anchor charts, and decorations for all holidays and celebrations with ease.

The ink has allowed us to make individualized and differentiated work for students, which is also able to be hung up to be put on display. Students love these materials and the decor and comment on it each day when they come in to the classroom. We love having the opportunity to create such a wonderful learning experience for these kiddos! Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • Supplies for a Successful Year

    Funded Dec 6, 2022

We are thankful to have received these incredible donations for the materials. We are so eager to have begun using some of them in our classroom. The ink is an invaluable tool that allows us to print materials to hang for students as a whole-class, but also to create individualized color-coded, inviting activities and charts for students, which includes all of our diverse learners. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards allow us to purchase a variety of differentiated materials, sheets, activities, and supports. One thing we have created is our Positive Affirmations Mirror, using the ink and gift cards to create this amazing support in our room. The charts are always helpful for our group work as well as when creating and displaying anchor charts for reference as we did with our sample written response. Thank you again for all of your incredible donations! We are all so thankful.”

  • Super Supplies

    Funded Feb 8, 2022

Thank you so much for the generous donations. My co-teacher and myself are super eager to use these materials to make learning come to life in our classroom. We use the chart markers to make vivid, engaging charts for students to engage with and refer to, as well as create themselves. We use the laminating sheets, sheet protectors, ink, and velcro dots to create binders and interactive, hands-on activities for our students to engage with as they learn. These materials also help to differentiate and individualize learning, which is simply incredible! The stapler remover and bulletin board tool make it possible for us to create visually appealing bulletins around our room for our students to refer to for support or to feel proud when they see their own work displayed. The pencil sharpener allows each learner to have a pencil ready-to-go for their learning day. These incredible items which we are able to have because of donors like you really enhances learning in our classroom and we are so eager to use these tools with our students!”

  • Engaging and Learning

    Funded Dec 15, 2021

Thank you so much for your very generous contributions which have allowed my class to benefit from learning with new resources. The students were amazed to see the incredible new materials and eager to explore some new styles of learning with these awesome tools. The book shelf allows students to see current books based on subject or holiday as we move through the many months of the school year. Students love reading these texts individually, but also as a class read aloud, which grows their love for reading. The mobile whiteboard allows us to pull students to work more closely on specified skills while having a sizeable display to complete work together. The individual whiteboards allow both classroom teachers to work closely with a student to focus on a given subject and skill as we write, read, and solve equations together. One example of these would be using the individual whiteboards to work on reading with young learners to practice tapping out and blending with consonant-vowel-consonant (cvc) words, such as bat. Students are able to work closely and manipulate these materials to take control of their learning. For our next steps, we plan to continue to use these tools throughout instruction as we have been, as well as find new ways to incorporate these materials for even more interactive and beneficial learning strategies. Thank you again for your incredible and thoughtful donations to this project and my classroom.”

For my kindergarten students, I am requesting 4 Amazon Fire Tablets. In our classroom, I would like to give our students the opportunity to use Raz Kids, which is an interactive reading program that our school uses to promote literacy. In addition to Raz Kids, I would love to provide them with the opportunity to explore other early childhood learning apps. My students are digital natives; therefore, learning through devices is an integral part of their early childhood education. Having 4 new tablets in the classroom to share among the students will benefit them both educationally and physiologically. Typing and tapping on a tablet helps them to build fine-motor skills. Thank you so much for your generosity.
