Thank you so much for your generous donation to our first grade class. This year we have been focusing on improving our writing skills. This time of year our supplies start running low. We were able to get new writing journals and special books for writing stories because of you and your kindness. We are so appreciative of your generous donation. You should have seen the students faces once they received their new journals and booklets. Thank you again for thinking about us. I am so fortunate for donors like you. Teaching can get very expensive supplying supplies but thanks to you now we are all set for the remainder of the year.”

  • Write Now

    Funded Nov 22, 2023

We have enjoyed your donations. You should have seen the smiles on their faces from receiving brand new writing journals. Thank you very much for your generous donation to our first grade classroom. We have been busy using the writing journals during out writing block as well as reading stations. These special journals are perfect for 1st grade because it has lined paper and a perfect spot for illustrating a picture. Without your donation we would not have these valuable resources to use and flourish. Our handwriting and creative writing skills have improved from having these writing resources. Thank you again for supplying our classroom with the tools to be successful.”

We are so grateful for your generous donation to our classroom grant. We have been so excited about this project. Picture This is a project aimed at using photographs to capture the appreciation of our community leaders as well as bring attention to events that will better our community. We have been creating awareness for community outreach events such as beach clean up, wounded warrior retreat, Veterans Day, Patriots Day and many more events. Whenever there is a special event for community leaders we will be honoring them using the lens to create posters and framed artwork. It has really be so helpful having this quality lens to create beautiful images. Thank you for always being a wonderful supporter of our classroom.”

  • Read to Succeed

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

Thank you very much for your generous donation to our classroom. These magazines have been so wonderful during our reading and social studies units. The students have enjoyed the opportunity to learn about high interest topics, at their reading levels. They love having their own magazines to take home, which encourages reading. My goal is for my students to gradually go from "learning to read" to "reading to learn" from using these magazines. We are so lucky to have your support. Scholastic magazines always have topics that interest my students and they love the word games included. My favorite day is when the Scholastic magazines arrive and I get to first introduce them to the students.”
