TPT Gift Cards
Funded Mar 8, 2021Thank you so much for giving to my students! These teacher pay teacher gift cards have already benefitted my students. I downloaded some art lessons and differentiated worksheets for students at different levels. I purchased some new sub plans that were a big hit with the kids. I also shared a card with a special education aide and on with the other fifth grade teacher. They have both put the cards to work to download some great resources. The teachers pay teachers website is filled with so many useful resources, and I can use them for years. Thank you so much for giving to my students!”

Food for Every Child
Funded Mar 11, 2021Thank you so much for the snacks for my students! My snack closet went from nearly empty to stuffed full of snacks, with more stacked behind my desk. My students love the variety and that we have all of their favorites. I have enough to share with the other fifth grade teacher, so these snacks are feeding all forty fifth graders in our school. In the past, we have run out of snacks, requiring students to work through until lunch without food. This was difficult for many of the students. I'm excited that we won't run out of our much-needed snacks anytime soon. Thank you for giving to my students!”

The Gift of Warmth in the Winter
Funded Dec 1, 2020Thank you so much for the coats and gloves! We are up here in Northern Alaska, and the students go outside to play at recess until -20. Before this project, my students wouldn't always be properly dressed for these temperatures. These coats and gloves are used every day to keep my students warm. In fact, there is enough gear that the students from the other fifth and fourth grade classes often come over to borrow coats and gloves for their recess time. Thank you so much for keeping our whole school warm in the winter!”

Funded Oct 25, 2020Thank you so much for bringing flexible seating to my classroom! Before this project was funded, my students could only sit at their desks or on the floor. Now, the students have the freedom to curl up on a pillow or a camp chair and read a favorite book during reading time. They can grab floor seats and work together on their independent work during math time. During centers, every station is assigned an alternative seat. Journaling is on the wobble stools, spelling is on the floor on floor seats, and vocabulary is done on the pillows. We put the camp chairs in a circle with a stuffed fire in the middle and read that week's reading together, in comfort. When I read a read-aloud, my students are free to choose a seat of their choice to sit around the room and follow along in their books. There are enough of each seat, that everyone gets the seat of their choice. My fidgety students know they can always ditch their chairs for a wobble stool to get their wiggles out. These seats have transformed my classroom. Thank you so much for this gift!”

Funded Oct 27, 2020Thank you so much for bringing these books to my classroom! Every day my students get to read in my classroom. I noticed early on that my students didn't enjoy this time, and had a hard time finding books that they wanted to read. I set out a notebook and the students filled it with titles of books that they wanted to see in my library. Books that they would be excited to read. This project comes straight from that list. Every book was chosen by the students. Now that the books are in my library, my students love reading time. The Five Nights at Freddy's are favorites, they are always in the hands of students. They also love the graphic novels and the How to Draw books are very popular. Thank you for giving the gift of reading to my class!”

Funded Oct 23, 2020Thank you so much for these non fiction books! My students get the opportunity to read every day in my class. Before this project, many of my students had a hard time finding books that they wanted to read. These non-fiction books were requested by my students so they would have books in our library that interest them. Now reading time is an exciting time where my students get to learn about dinosaurs, science, and world records. They can't contain their excitement, they run over to me and share the facts they are learning in these great books! The dinosaur books are very popular, especially when we were learning about prehistoric earth during science. Thank you so much for bringing these great books to my classroom!”

Funded Nov 20, 2020Thank you so much for giving seat sacks to my students! When we got our new tables, the students were thrilled but a little sad that they no longer had anywhere to keep their things at their seats. The seat sacks were specifically requested by the students so they could keep some books, pencils, and folders close. This keeps them from always having to get up to go to their cubbies. These seat sacks are used by every student every day. They have held up great so far, I see no signs of wear on any of them. I am fully expecting these seat sacks to last through at least next year if not longer. They were truly a great investment. Thank you so much for this gift!”

Funded Oct 14, 2020Thank you so much for the boxed set of books for my students! I gave these out as Christmas presents and my students were so excited! The students are asked to read with their families every night. These books are great for that because they are on a level that is accessible to every child, and the stories are exciting and familiar to them because of the movies that we have all seen. I grew up loving Roald Dahl books. To be able to share the exciting worlds this author creates in his stories means the world to me. Thank you for giving this opportunity to my students!”

Funded Sep 16, 2020Thank you so much for the crayons and face shields. These resources are used every day in my class. My students love art time, but with COVID restrictions, a big box set of crayons wasn't going to work anymore. Thanks to the individual boxes of crayons, now every student has every color without having to share. And because they are Crayola crayons, the colors are vibrant, and their art looks fantastic.
The face shields give my students an alternative to the masks that were issued by the school. My students get tired of wearing masks all day, so the shields allow them to take off their masks while still being safe. They also allow the students to run around and play in gym class without having to wearing their masks.
Thank you for giving this gift to my students!”

Funded Sep 16, 2020Thank you so much for the tremendous gift of the TPT gift card! I have used resources purchased from this card literally every week since I've received it. I especially find it useful to differentiate my math and reading curriculum. The TPT database is filled with resources for students above and below grade level, it has saved me so much time and money to bring activities and lessons that meet my students where they are. The art activities are another favorite from this website. Thanks to my gift card, I can afford to bring engaging art projects to our class that incorporate writing and history lessons for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines day, and our weekly art time. I recently woke up to a sick child at home, and sub plans were no problem thanks to the no-prep emergency sub plans available on TPT. The students loved the lessons and the sub thanked me for having such easy to follow plans ready for her. Thank you for giving this great gift to my students.”
