Sitting Still is Not for ME!
Funded Jan 24, 2023Wow! Our students are going to be so excited! Fidgety children will be able to concentrate during instruction with their new exercise balls and bouncy bands. Sometimes our students have so much going on in their lives, it's hard to slow down and "get the learning". Your donation will change the way our kids respond to instruction. With these items students can remain sitting for longer times than they would ever to be able to without them.”

Funded May 7, 2015Our students are so grateful! Because we have yoga ball chairs, kids no longer have to sit still for hours a day. They can move and wiggle a bit, which helps them stay focused on their studies. Unfortunately, recess is not built in to the daily schedule of our 6th graders, yet our children need exercise and movement. Being able to "move without moving" is making a difference in the attention span of our students and enabling them to stay on task. We can't thank you enough for making a difference in our learning.”

Move It or Lose It!
Funded Oct 1, 2014WOW! Yoga balls have been such a great idea for my social studies classes of sixth graders. We sometimes pull names in a raffle to decide who can sit in them or the four students with the highest grades receive the honors. They've been an incentive for students and students rush to be the first one in the room in hopes they'll get to sit in them.
At least 20% of my students have been diagnosed with ADHD or show symptoms. The yoga ball chairs provide them with the opportunity to move without disturbing the entire class. They've also been great when students work in groups and have to squeeze another in. We have desks with the chairs attached so moving seats isn't ideal. With the yoga ball chairs on rollers, they are easy to move anywhere in the classroom.
We appreciate your generosity AT&T! Thanks so much for caring about students.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Nadzak
