A 21st Century Tech Request!
Funded Aug 13, 2019Thank you so much for the generous donations to help purchase a new technology item for my classroom. My students have been using the laptop to create posters, flyers, data charts and Buncee animated presentations to share information connected to our curriculum focuses.
Recently, students completed a S.T.E.A.M challenge building levees. After the challenge, they were required to document their building process, explain why levees are important and state what they could have improved on in their design. They used our laptop to create a brochure, which were they shared with the whole school. The students were very engaged and excited.
Thank you again for making this possible for my students,”

Teach Your Heart Out - Miami!
Funded Mar 20, 2018I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donations to help me to be able to go to the Teach Your Heart Out conference. I haven't had a chance to attend yet because it is in October, but I couldn't be more excited for the experience. It means so much to me and my students. I can't wait to learn new strategies and teaching techniques that will help me to be a more effective and engaging teacher. I want to be best possible version of me I can be for my students. They deserve the best experience on a daily basis.
Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Carter
We Need Some Color!
Funded Nov 29, 2017My students I are so thankful for your support and your donation to our classroom. Having access to technology such as printers and laminators helps give students something tangible to hold and work with hands on. As a teacher, it is so easy to stand at the front of the room and teach from a screen or board. But I have noticed in my short years of experience, that when students have something bright to hold in their hands, their engagement increases and their motivation to participate is amazing. Thank you once again for your donation. I am forever thankful for your kindness.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Carter
