Every child deserves the right to learn. As California struggles with funding education, our classrooms grow in numbers. The leaders of tomorrow are the ones who suffer the most. Currently I have 25 third graders. Let's help our students be the best they can be in life. Our community used to be a farming community, but in the last few years we have become one of the fastest growing towns in California. With growth comes a very diverse group of people. Our school site Is a Title 1 school with over 50% of the children receiving free or reduced fee lunch. My children come from difficult home lives, broken families, poverty, rough neighborhoods, and some are in foster care or being raised by grandparents. My students are great kids who are eager to learn. At school we try hard to incorporate as much positive reinforcement as possible.
