• A Classroom That Reflects My Students

  A huge thank you to your donations! You generosity has a made a huge impact! My students were able to walk into this school year and see a classroom that reflected their own cultures and homes.

  My students were immediately excited to see the Mexican Party banners and see a bit of their cultures floating through the classroom. Statues of Buddha and the Om symbol of Hinduism not only reflected students cultures but also were used while we studied our religion unit in the 9th grade classroom. I am truly thankful for all of your donations that allowed my students to feel seen and heard the moment they walked into my classroom this year.”

• Art Supplies for Creative Minds

  How exciting it is to begin art projects that my students have been asking for! Thank you so much for your generous donations. Your donations allowed my students to work on painting and felting projects in our art classroom. Many of these students have been asking to complete these projects for over a year. I was so excited to be able to finally allow them to begin their projects of interest.

  My students created amazing paintings for not only one but two projects. They studied Folk Art of India and created pieces similar to those that they studied. Students also got a taste of textile art through felting! Without your generosity none of this would be possible.”

• Weighted Stuffed Animals for Emotional Support

  I cannot thank you enough for the weighted stuffed animals! I cannot express the joy on my students faces when they saw the new weighted stuffed animals in the classroom. The anticipation for the delivery was great! One particular student was especially excited the dinosaur which he named after himself "Sal-a-sourus.

  These weighted stuffed animals bring out the kid in so many of my students. They live in a world in which they have to grow up fast but these animals allow them to be kids again. They weight of the animals bring them great comfort and create a soothing environment in the classroom.”

• A Printer to Support the Basic Needs of the Classroom

  A huge thank you for our classroom printer! The printer is well loved and used in all of my classes! It truly helps my students because I can differentiate their needs further on the spot.

  Students are able to have a quick print out of work, awards can be printed along with photos for my photography class.

  The printer also saves me a huge amount of time. No more long waits to print a sheet of paper from limited shared staff computers! The time saved allows me to focus on much important and beneficial things for my students.”

• Basic Supplies to Start the School Year Off Right!

  Thank you so much for getting my school year off to such a great start! I cannot thank you enough for the tissues, lotion, paper towels, room spray and cleaning items! These simple items are literally used every single day to ensure my students have a clean and welcoming space!

  The cleaning items have really helped out during this winter season. I am able to clean the classroom everyday ensuring my students stay as healthy as possible. Tissues help with runny noses, lotion helps with dry cracked handed

• The Oculus Brings the World Into the Classroom

  I can't thank you enough for the amazing and generous donations! With your donation I have been able to take my kids to places that they never could imagine! The Oculus truly allows teaching to come alive. Instead of students just being able to read about a civilization or watch a video they are able to immerse themselves fully into virtual reality.

  The oculus has allowed my students to explore Manchu Picchu, Antartica, the Palace of Versallies and more! As I am writing this letter of gratitude I have six students at my door waiting to explore Manchu Picchu more! Instead of running off to enjoy a long weekend they are in the classroom hoping to learn a little bit more!”

• Snap Into the School Year With Cameras for Photography Class

  Thank you so much for your donations and supporting my classroom! Our photography program is up and running due to your generosity. The cameras have made a huge impact and have allowed my students to have the ability to create art work through a hands on experience.

  The cameras are also allowing for students to express themselves through creativity. The cameras have created a platform that allows for socio- emotional learning in the classroom. This platform allows for students to gain a better understanding of their sense of self.”

• Cricut Machine and Boarders to Help Welcome Students

  Funded Aug 19, 2021

  Thank you do much for our new Circut machine and crafting supplies. The students were so excited to see what they could make with the machine. We are already using the machine to celebrate the accomplishments of students in the class.

  We have great plans to have team building activities for the students set up. Our plans are to allow them to create their own t-shirts and sweatshirts using the vinyl that was donated.

• Soles for Amazing Souls

  I want to reach out a offer a huge thank you for supporting my "Soles for Amazing Soles" project for my students. These shoes have made a huge difference this year in my students life. We have recently had an influx of immigrant students and many of my students and their families were hard hit with the impact of Covid.

  Simple items that we often take for granted such as a pair of shoes are truly a financial burden on many families who are struggling financially. Your generosity has allowed for me to provide some small relief for families by offering them a pair of shoes.

  I truly wish you could be with me when I had the shoes to the students. There smilies of joy and relief are unbelievable!”
