  • Learning Kits: Because...My Students Can Do "Virtually" Anything!

    I cannot express how grateful I am to have had your support funding this project. My students are going to be able to engage with the curriculum and feel so empowered having the tools they need for success in this year. I cannot wait to see the looks on my kiddos faces when they receive their learning kits!! All I can say is “happy tears”. Having a variety of seating options for my students will allow students to choose the seat that they learn best in. The student centered arrangement will increase student motivation and engagement. Student will feel more supported and understood being able to learn in an environment that considers their comfort and varying learning styles. Flexible seating has proven not only to enhance motivation and engagement but also improve posture and overall health. Allowing better oxygen flow to the brain increases health and performance. Classrooms with flexible seating have also seen an improvement in behavior. Children know where they are most comfortable and can learn best. If we just give them the tools they will own it and the outcomes are priceless!!
