iPad for Students with Disabilities
Funded May 4, 2021I am overwhelmed at your generosity in supporting my students learning! Your kindness is a great model for my students. They get to learn how important it is to support others, especially when it comes to children’s education and access to materials. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my kiddos!”

Funded Aug 11, 2020My students were absolutely amazed by your generosity in donating to this important project. I firmly believe that students should see themselves represented in all kinds of texts and not just during Black History Month. The texts purchased with your donation have facilitated deep conversation and have inspired them to create their own stories.
In a time like this, here hope is hard to come by, you've brought light into our classroom. We are working hard to honor you by creating portraits to add to our Donors Choose Wall of Fame - pictured in the attached photos. My students and I are absolutely inspired by your generosity.
It was a true joy to watch their faces light up as the boxes began to roll in. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for thinking of the students in class 508.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Cregan

Funded Jul 29, 2020Both my students and I were overwhelmed by your donations. As I shared how the materials arrived in our classroom, their eyes widened in amazement. I said, there are SO many people who want to make sure you have everything you need to be creative and express yourself. The excitement was palpable that day.
As promised, the first thing we did (after exploring the various skin tone paints) was create our very own self portraits. The students also were able to mix all their own custom paint colors to add to their own palate (which is just an ice cube tray with a lid - got to get thrifty this year!) and often ask if we can break out the paints.
One of the changes that came with this year was a shift to instructional lunch in the classroom versus lunch and recess in the cafeteria and the school yard. Though I dreaded this change, we have found it gives us the opportunity to engage in far more art activities that we would not have had time for, were it not for everything that happened this year. These are some of the photos of their completed portraits. Though masks are covering most smiles, you'll see how proud they are to share them with you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are holding tightly onto the positive this year and your donation has provided us some special learning moments in the classroom.”

Ms. Cregan
Special Education Remote Learning Necessities
Funded Nov 15, 2020I am speechless! In a short time, this project has been fully funded thanks to you. You opened your wallets and your hearts to my twelve little ones. As scared as I feel about what this year holds, I feel remarkably grateful.
Now, more than ever, I hope to provide all I can to my students. Your donation will play a big part in providing my students with the tools they need to succeed this year.
Your generosity, so swift and decisive shows me how lucky I am to have people like you in my life! And in exchange for your donation, there will be adorable photos of my kiddos and handwritten thank you's to come.
Again, I wish I could adequately describe how thankful I feel right now.
Be well, stay safe and WASH YOUR HANDS!”

Funded Sep 8, 2020I am speechless! In a short time, this project has been fully funded thanks to you (and Kleenex). You opened your wallets and your hearts to my twelve little ones. As scared as I feel about beginning this year, I can't help but still get excited about back to school time. I am transitioning back to a self contained special education class and as luck would have it, I'm getting to teach students that I've previously taught in either 2nd or 3rd grade a few years back. Reunited!
Now, more than ever, I hope to create a classroom that feels like home, safe in a world that doesn't feel so safe. Your donation will play a big part in cultivating that feeling. Ensuring that my students have the necessary supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer helps me to sleep much easier.

Good Books Need A Home!
Funded Dec 3, 2019I can't thank you enough for donating to help fund our beautiful classroom library. The color coded bins help us to organize and students to locate the texts on their independent reading level.
The kids could't believe their eyes when they saw the boxes delivered. Although it was a big job, and we had help, our library, thanks to you never looked better.
Knowing that there are people out there supporting my students brings a great smile to my face. Although we may not be in school now, the bins you helped our class in getting will be used by hundreds of kids to find their new favorite books in years to come. I sincerely thank you for your generosity and wish you and your family happiness and safety.”

Funded May 11, 2017I can't describe how incredible it was seeing people (and some even born out of the NYC school system!) support my classroom in providing something so basic and yet so impactful. This ink is used in the classroom on a daily basis and provides homework pages, independent practice materials, student published books and countless other things.
The students were so excited to open the boxes,, write thank you notes and start using the printer again! Your generosity has not gone unnoticed or forgotten, we think of you every day!
As the new school year begins, another crop of students are benefiting from your generous donations. Currently, we are working on publishing our own personal narrative pieces of writing and once the final draft has been perfected, we will be printing out beautiful books to share with other students and parents!
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support of teachers has such profound impacts on the education of these children.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Cregan
