  • A Clean Place Is a Healthy and Safe Place!

    Your donations mean helping our students overcome difficult circumstances. Your donations mean giving a lift to students and their families especially after a pandemic where lots of our families lost their jobs and are beginning to financially recovered. Students not only use the materials in the classroom, but also take turns to take them home. Your donations have helped some of our families to stay out of stress knowing they don't need to buy some of these supplies for a little while. Your donations are also helping keep our classroom free of germs, therefore, our attendance have improved greatly. Your donations mean supporting the next generation of leaders in their pursuit of a college education—and their dreams.   • Warm in the Winter/Cool in the Summer

    Thank you so much for your generosity! We are so happy to have the AC/ Heater donation in our classroom. Our school is old and the different types of weather affect us deeply. Because of your generosity, our classroom environment is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

    The first reaction when the students saw the AC/Heater was so warm, but mostly they have not complained of being hot or cold this past couple of months. Thanks to your kind contributions and donations, our students are working in a better environment where learning is a priority and they are aiming for that!

    I would like to extend my gratitude by asking if you would like to send a representative to our school and classroom to see what a great difference and impact your contribution made in our classroom community.   • Leveled Books Browsers Needed

    I would like to thank you for your donations! Our 1st Grade Bilingual classroom is very small for a total of 20 students and two teachers. However, your donation has given us a little extra space and easy access to our materials.

    Currently, we are using one cart to display classroom level books and materials. The other cart we're using it for personalized students reading bins. Students are extremely happy! They are proud to have a personalized bin in which they can have both English and Spanish leveled books, especially for independent reading!

  • I Need to See It! I Need to Hear It!

    Thank you for your donation to our classroom. This projector has done a wonderful job! My first grade bilingual students need lots of visuals and by using the projector we are accomplishing that and more. Everyday we look forward to use it. I cannot describe how exciting and happy my students get when they see and understand the materials, mini-videos, lessons and much more we cover in class by using our new projector. I remember as a child, how much I wanted to learn English. I wanted to sing the songs on the radio, talk like my friends but, I couldn't. I can understand how my students feel and I understand their frustrations. With this project, the students will have the opportunity to be exposed to visuals from printable media, videos, and pictures. They will be able to interact with the smartboard activities as well as with the wireless keyboard we already own. Therefore, we need this projector to make learning easier and to help students with more exposure to what they don't understand and know. Help us complete our wish!

About my class
