  • Building a Pond Leveling Device for our School

    Funded Apr 16, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to this project! You helped my students take their dream and try to start making it a reality. It has not been easy for them to figure out but they have made progress and are excited to continue working on this project again this school year.

As you may know, building your own machine is not an easy task, but providing the materials for my students to begin learning was HUGE! They have learned so much just tinkering with the materials! Thank you for making this possible! To us, you are a hero!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Owens

  • Laser Cutter to Help Our School and Community

    Funded Dec 27, 2023

Thank you so much for helping this project become a reality. We have used our laser cutter for SO many projects in EAST including creating manipulatives, maps, signage, name badges and even identification keychains for students. Our students have had to learn how to design and model things that could be then cut into wood. That has been challenging for them, but they have figured it out!

We know that we will continue to use our laser cutter for many projects in the future now that our students had have exposure to what it is capable of! Thank you for helping us help others and enriching the learning experience of my students! You are a HERO to us!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Owens

  • Digital Display for Our School

    Funded May 12, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project! It was a HUGE success! Our EAST students placed the screen in our foyer for parents and visitors to be updated on all the amazing things that are going on at our school. Now the screen scrolls pictures of our students and it also scrolls the latest announcements from our school.

It is such a wonderful addition to our foyer and is noticed everyday by parents, staff and community members who visit our school! Thank you so much for donating to this project and helping my students help out school! You are a real hero!”

  • Robot Car Line Leaders & Hallway Monitors

    Funded Jan 12, 2023

Thank you for supporting this AWESOME project! My students have built all the robots and now are fixing all the loose parts and designing cases to protect the robot cars. The kids have learned so much doing this project. They had to put the robots together themselves and often times that meant putting it together and taking it apart until they got it right. They learned how much each screw and bolt mattered and why they were so specific about the sensors and the raspberry pi computer. Thank you so much for believing in us and supporting our program! It means the world to us!”

  • More 3D Printing, More Impact!

    Funded Sep 9, 2022

Thank you for helping fund our new 3d printer last year! We were 3d printing nonstop and the purchase of our new 3d printer allowed us to do MANY projects that we would not have been able to do otherwise! We 3d printed trophies for our teachers of the year and retired teachers. We also 3d printed cases for our robot cases. We are 3d printed charms for our running program. We also 3d printed many keychains to use as incentives for our house system. We also 3d printed cases for our habitat livestream cameras and habitats for animals. You truly are a hero to my kids! Thank you for fueling our creativity through this project!”

  • 3D Printing Projects to Help our School and District

    Funded Jan 10, 2023

Our students were able to print 12 trophies and 13 medals for our teachers of the year and teachers that retired last year! That would have not been possible without your donations to this project. It took the students a while to get the perfect design for both the medal and the trophy but once they did, they looked incredible.

One of the coolest things about this project was seeing the students on stage presenting the trophies and medals they printed to the recipients at the end of last school year. The kids were so proud of the work that they did! Thank you for being a part of it!”

  • Learning to Live Stream to Help Others

    Funded Jan 7, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project. We have really enjoyed the challenge of putting this livestream camera together and programming it with livestream software. My students have learned so much during this process!

After getting the software flashed to the SD card and getting everything working, my students edited the 3d Printed hideouts and added a hole for the camera. It has been very exciting to watch them very and figure everything out.

Now they are going to present this idea to the Crowley's Ridge Nature Center and see if this will work in their animal habitats. Since we have already discussed this with them before, we know they are going to be VERY excited! Thank for for supporting my students as they work together and problem solve!”

    With gratitude,

  • 3D Prints for Every Student

    Funded Aug 17, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to this project! We have successfully been able to 3d print enough house keychains for every kid in our school. Now we are using them as an incentive through our Ron Clark House Points App. Students are able to "purchase" the keychains with points that they earn for good behavior! It has been so awesome to see our kids get so excited about earning enough points to "buy" these 3d printed keychains that were designed and printed by the students in my EAST class! You are a hero! Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Owens
