Interactive notebooks are an excellent way for students to take charge of and engage in their learning. They are able to manipulate the smaller broken down tasks to achieve difficult content. Having access to bright colored paper, scissors, markers, colored pencils and glue will allow them to make the note book their own. Each child will have the chance to make choices in the colors, they will be able to make the book their own and take ownership over their learning. Learning concepts that are difficult, such as economics can be made more manageable by making the tasks smaller. They will have a chance to make their books their own, as some students may need more time to manipulate the concept, and others will grasp it and be able to move on. Interactive notebooks are an excellent way to meet these needs.
