I work in the heart of Baltimore City in a classroom that resides in an urban neighborhood with limited resources. However that does not limit who our student's potential. We strive to make sure we can have fun and learn about the world and ourselves through art. Our art room is a place where the crazy ideas fit in and the mundane is expanded. I do everything I can to make sure that the students that I teach feel good about their work and what they have learned. I work hard with my students to incorporate all they learn in core classes, both through our garden program and integrated studies. We are also developing tech based art and stem lessons for a more modern and diverse art classroom.
