  • We Are “Board” and need a Magnetized Whiteboard

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

    Thank you very much for our new white board! This is making a huge difference in the classroom. The kiddos are so excited to practice writing and spelling words on the board. They are also loving the fact that they can use the magnetic letters to make words on the board. Another thing that they did today, and I wish I got a picture of, is that they got the Number bond out and Tens Frames out and started doing math on the board during indoor recess. I can not thank you enough for the generous donation that is allowing my kids to be excited about learning.”

  • Staying Active During Summer!

    Thank you so much for your generous gift to my students! As we prepare to part ways for the summer, I thought about ways to help my students keep their minds and bodies active and healthy. I am excited to be able to give them these screen-free activities that encourage them to get up and get outside. The gifts you have provided will give my students great ways to enjoy the outside while they are gone on summer break.

    I have put these gifts together for my kiddos, and I am very excited to give them to them. All the kiddos will receive this at the very last full day of school. Thank you again for your very generous donation!”

  • Puppy Love- An Act of Kindness

    Thank you very much for helping my kiddos know what it is like to make an impact on a place and people in the community. They really felt a sense of accomplishment and servitude with this project.

    Because of you, we were able to make such a huge difference in the community. You and our students were able to donate a grand total of over $2,500 of pet supplies towards our local pet shelter. This made a huge difference for them.

    Our kids are going to forever know what it means to give and help others because of how much they saw the emotions of the ladies that we gave these items to. They now want to go and help so many other places in the community!

    These Firsties are learning all about adjectives, retelling, sequencing, repetition, rhyme, prepositions and so many more important things that are needed to be learned in first grade.

    The coolest thing I saw with this, was that we got the new box of books in, and instead of wanting to watch a movie was we were waiting on the buses to be called, the students wanted to look at and read our new books.

    I am so proud of these little readers, who would not be as excited about reading as they are without your donation. I can not thank you enough for these books that have inspired my students to become better readers.”

    These Firsties are learning all about onomatopoeias, adjectives, retelling, sequencing, repetition, rhyme, and so many more important things that are needed to be learned in first grade.

    The coolest thing I have seen from these books, is that the kids are more excited about learning. They are picking out the vowel diagraphs that we have learned and the double letters, and they are trying to read the stories again all by themselves.

    I am so proud of these little readers, who would not be as excited about reading as they are without your donation. I can not thank you enough for these books that have inspired my students to become better readers.”
