  • Classroom Materials

    Funded Jun 2, 2024

My students and I appreciate these new resources immensely. First of all we use the privacy boards to eliminate distractions during assessments and allow students to stay focused on their own test/paper. Secondly, we use the whiteboards for test review, centers and various subject assignments. For instance, when reviewing for an upcoming grammar test, the class uses the whiteboards to practice common nouns and proper nouns.

When my students first saw the book bins for our classroom library, they immediately were excited and more intrigued to go book shopping. They enjoyed how organized the classroom library is and how updated it looked.

For our new descriptive writing unit, students will use their whiteboards to brainstorm places they know and love to write about for their writing piece. Additionally, the clipboards are used by students that come to the meeting area with a worksheet and want to work there. The lamination sheet and sheet protector will be used when updating the reading bulletin board for our current HMH unit.

Thank you to the donors who contributed to this project! You have helped a classroom receive amazing and useful resources!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Prasinos

  • Interactive Group Work Materials

    Funded Apr 19, 2024

Your contributions have helped provide our class with materials that make group work more organized and interactive. The vertical flipbooks, whiteboards, dry-erase markers and laminating sheets are just a few of the material that I and my third grade class are grateful for. These materials are a great way for my student to be more productive during their learning time.

For instance, during math centers, we used the vertical flipbooks to guide each group for their math tasks.

Additionally, we use the whiteboards for different subjects. In writing, we use the whiteboards to practice cursive. In social studies, we used the boards to review for a test on Africa.

Lastly, the laminating sheet help protect anchor charts that students use as reference during their group work time.

Once again, thank you for your donations. You are supporting students in being more successful in their educational journey.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Prasinos

  • Support Our Class (Part 2)

    Funded May 1, 2023

I want to thank you again for the donations and the effort you have made to support our class project.

The students were curious, excited and grateful for these new items. During centers, students were able to have a better technology experience with the headphones and stated that the cushioning on the headphones with comfortable for their ears.

Our class goes through a lot of pencils over the course of the school year. So, having a good amount available for our class has been resourceful for them. The computer paper has help us with class sets, printing out materials needed for the school day and many more.

The privacy boards extremely useful when students took their test and quizzes. The whole set up was more organized and structured. I enjoyed having the board rack to store them when we were done.

I am happy and appreciative of these resources and will continue to use them with future students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Prasinos
