Clean Eating Space!
Funded Nov 6, 2020Thank you so much for all the cleaning supplies. It has helped to maintain a germ free zone in my classroom. We use the disinfectant wipes everyday after breakfast and lunch to wipe down our tables. We also use the wipes to clean our devices, especially if someone else has to touch it.
They air lysol spray has also been great to spray after the students eat, to rid the air as much as possible to any particles or germs. The soap has been helpful to students when they are washing their hands and even their utensils during lunchtime.
All in all it has been so wonderful having these cleaning supplies that our district has not be able to provide. Thank you for making us feel safe!”

Funded Aug 5, 2020Thank you so much for helping my studebts realize that math is all around us and isn't just something you learn in school and never use again.
I am excited to give my studebts these books in the coming days. I have communicated with their parents a time I'll be in front of the school, if they are able to come and if not ill will give it to them another time.
I read a similar to my students last year and they really enjoyed it. I know they are ao excited to get this book, many have already asked me about it. Thank you for making reading exciting.”

Funded Sep 30, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donation and support of my classroom. With all the cleaning supplies, we have been able to maintain a safe classroom environment. The lysol wipes have been very important in keeping out computers clean and germ free. Now, that we are only laptops to work, I often find myself having to touch another students computer to help them login somewhere, or show them how to complete a task online. With the lysol wipes, I wipe down their keyboard before I touch it and after. I also give them and myself hand sanitizer and spray the air with lysol spray. As much as we try to social distance in the classroom, it's difficult because children always need help, but it's easier knowing we have the proper PPE to keep us as safe as possible. We are off to a great start and the kids are so happy to be back in school.”

Funded Jun 23, 2020Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. It always amazes me how generous people are and how much they care about my students. These materials have been so helpful this year already because of all the COVID precautions. For example, each student was able to get their own personal pen, so that they do not have to share. Also, I am able to give each student their own large chart paper so that they don't have to share it either. This year, we had to eliminate sharing to prevent the spread of the virus, so each student having their own personal materials has been very critical so far and with your help, in my classroom that has been possible. We have been able to create some fun ways to complete assignments that don't involve the computer and keeps students socially distance and safe. Thank you so much for helping me keep learning fun and engaging.”

Pencils Please!
Funded Apr 22, 2020My class is so grateful for the pencils. This school year has been very different and the biggest adjustment has been the social distancing and the no sharing rule. My students would always share and help each other out when needed. The biggest thing that was shared, pre pandemic was pencils. Now, when a student doesn't bring in a pencil they know that I have pencils to give because of generous people like you. These pencils are helping me keep my students safe by stopping the transmission of germs. Also, they are reliving the burden off of parents who might not be able to afford pencils for their children. Something so simple as a pencil can make such a big difference. We appreciate you for helping our classroom community.”

Cozy Reading Nook!
Funded Jun 10, 2020Thank you so much for helping me create what I envision for my classroom's reading nook. Unfortunately due to COIVD, I was not able to set up my classroom the way I usually do. This year, we are not allowed to really have a traditional classroom and the students are not reading physical copies of books, so I could not setup my reading nook. I have the three, colorful benches saved and I am looking forward to setting them up for next year. I know the students this year would really enjoy them. When they saw the boxes and I showed them the benches, they were so excited, but also understood why I couldn't set them up this year. But, I know that next school year my reading area in my classroom will be the talk of the school”

Black Lives Matter Reading!
Funded Jul 7, 2020Thank you so much for helping students get these inspirational books. My goal with this project to motive my students to being positive change to their community. I hope that by reading these books about children their age, that my students will learn to stand up for what is right. Specifically, I want my students to keep the "Black Lives Matter" movement alive everyday, by what they say and do. I have already met with some students to distribute the books. I hope they are inspired to aim high and know that they are our future.”
