Making Math Fun!
Funded Aug 9, 2022Thank you so much for helping support my classroom. My students were so excited to open the boxes and see all of our supplies. They really enjoyed doing math crafts and centers with our new materials. We used the pipe cleaners and beads to learn how to count to a specific number and the counting bears to learn our numbers. We also already used the math centers games during center time. We used them to connect numbers to pictures. We are learning so much with our new materials. Again, thanks so much for helping us learn.”

Funded Mar 2, 2022Thanks to your help my students can enjoy learning while having fun. My students were so excited when we opened the box up.They yelled with excitement when they saw all the fun things we now have to help us learn. Saying thanks just doesn't cover how enthusiastic my students were.
With the materials we were able to make lots of Easter crafts that went with books we read in class. We were able to make an Easter bunny with the eyes, pipe cleaners, and the pompoms. We also used the paint, popsicle sticks, and glue to make little baby chicks. They had a blast. Thanks so much for the craft materials.
My kids were also so excited to see the Alphabet magnet boards. We can't wait to fully use these to spell words and make sentences.”

Funded Aug 14, 2019Thank you so much for the generous donation to help support our classroom. My students were so excited to see all of the wonderful and helpful items that helped us organize our classroom. The bookshelves came in just in time for us to put our new math books on. The bookshelves make it easier to keep each class period separated and each volume separated from each other. The stools gave my students somewhere to sit around our focus table. This helps with my students that need a little more time to complete their work and somewhere with less distractions. The baskets helps with the organization with our markers. Our classroom would not be as organized without your help. Thank you so much!”

Funded Jul 11, 2019Thank you so much for the wonderful and generous donation made to full fill my project for my kids ( they may not be mine by blood, but they are mine by heart). My students were so excited to see all of the wonderful and colorful goodies that came with the project. The project was put in place to have rewards for positive behavior in the classroom. With the goodies put in place the students know that if they don't sign the behavior log all week they can get something out of the Red Treasure Box. Students are also rewarded for good behavior in the classroom and for doing positive actions here at school. The students love all of the goodies and I love being able to give them out. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!”

Funded Aug 22, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students are so excited to begin their "All About Me" posters using the crayons from the project you helped to fund. The students are using the pencils to fill in the poster and are able to make it all beautiful for their parents with the crayons. The filler paper will be used to create Math Notebooks for the students to learn how to work out math problems. The scissors are being used to create and work in our Math Interactive Notebook. This is something special for the kids. They get to work fun math sheets, color the sheets, cut the problems out, and then glue them in the notebook.
When my package arrived, the students were so excited to see what was in the box. When I explained to the students that it was the Donors Choose materials that got funded they gave a big clap. The students were so excited to receive gifts from people that did not know them.
Most of the materials donated will be used to work in the interactive notebook. The poster will be used to let others learn more about each other. With your help my students now have all the materials and supplies to make this year great. Thank you for your help and donations.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donation. With your help, my students were able to use the new computers to better prepare for the state test. My students are also able to use the computers to play 21st century math games (Prodigy, Khan Academy, MobyMax) to prepare themselves for their upcoming school year. With the new computers being able to turn into tablets, the students are able to play different multiplication games that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. My students were so excited to receive the new computers. They are able to become 21st Century learners due to people and organizations like you. Thank You!!!!”
