  • Back To The Basics With Phonics!

    Funded Sep 16, 2021

Thank you so much for your support with this project. Many of Mya students have had significant learning loss due to the pandemic, losing family members and so these tools have helped out my scholars tremendously!

We use our resources during our Reading small group and during our intervention time. When they first started using the letter tiles they were excited that the letters were magnets! Our next project is moving from 3 letter tiles to being able to create 5-10 letter words. Again thank you so much!”

They enjoy having a daily snack whether it is during our morning break or during math time while working indecently. They really have enjoyed having a little more before they go home for the day! Again thank so much for your kind donations. My students truly did appreciate them!”

  • Healthy Snacks Inspire Healthy Minds!

    Funded Mar 5, 2020

Thank you so much for your support! Being a Title 1 campus, many of our students don't get enough to eat at home so I do my best to make sure they have some sort of snack throughout the day. My students were very excited when the packages arrived!! They immediately wanted to know who send our gifts! As mentioned earlier, many of our students don't get adequate nutrition at home. They also often times miss breakfast. So these snacks came just in time! Thank you so much again we are forever greatful for your donation!!”

  • Satisfying Supplies in Second Grade

    Funded Nov 6, 2019

Thank you so much for all of your donations! My students are forever grateful for everything that was sent. We have had a successful first part of the school year and we are looking forward to what is in store for us during the 2nd half. One of the most exciting things we received was the timer. The students love taking turns stopping it when it goes off. The name plates have been an amazing help for my English Language Learners who are familiarizing themselves with the English Language. The hundreds chart has been an amazing resource during our Math Block as well. Thank you so much!”

  • Simple Tools for Success

    Funded Aug 2, 2019

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom this year. My students are very grateful for your support. One of the items that they especially have found useful is their name tags. These are unique because they have resources such as a hundreds chart, ruler and shapes that my 2nd graders find helpful throughout the day. Our big timer is a great hit too because they enjoy not only the responsibility of getting the chance to turn it off, but also keeping time throughout the day when we are transitioning from different activities. Again thank you for your contributions!”

  • How Does Your Garden Grow?

    Funded Dec 14, 2018

Thank so much for your donations. We have been able to do so much with the generous donations you provided us with. Our 3-5 grade garden students were so excited when they found out that they would be able to work in the garden. We have planted a few surprises so far and can't wait to see what we produce in the next few months. Working in our school garden gives our students opportunities that have not been given outside of campus. Once again thank you so much for helping to change the lives of our garden club students.”

Thank you for the donations you gave to my class. My student have enjoyed using everything that was sent to us. They were so excited to check out the books that were sent and enjoyed sharing with me and their peers what they read about. The requested easel and chart will help me and my students be prepared for the learning adventures they will have this year! As a first year teacher I want to be able to reach my students in all ways possible. That starts with me having my classroom supplied and being sure that I am also ready for them to arrive the 1st day. I am teaching all subjects this year so my year will be packed with many challenges but also rewarding tasks and adventures throughout the year. I'm excited to start this journey with all my students and can't wait to see all the beautiful faces this year! The easel will make whole class and small group discussion more mobile, allowing me to move about my classroom with ease. The literacy center chart will make changing out my groups easy and allow my students to assist me also.
