These ukuleles are going to be a hit in our music classroom. The 2nd and 3rd grade students play recorder, and 5th grade plays concert band instruments, but the 4th grade class doesn't have instruments specific to them. I want my students to be the most well rounded and proficient musicians when they leave our elementary school, moving on to the middle and high school. These ukuleles will help me introduce other cultures to my students that makes it hands-on and exciting to teach and learn. We will be working on the basic theory and history of the ukulele as well as working on our state standards and our personal values of teamwork, sharing and cooperation.
