  • Classroom Gardening With Hydroponics!

    Funded Oct 24, 2024

Our students are so excited to begin their classroom garden and to learn more about hydroponic gardens!

We have the 2 new gardens that students will be responsible to follow the set up directions to have a successful start. In addition, all the materials are laid out waiting for them to make comparisons between traditional and hydroponic gardening from germination, growing, and transplanting.

The students are interested in learning these new gardening methods and sharing that with their school mates.

We are thankful to have received these donations to continue our learning and share this experience with our school community and beyond.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Karen Buchanan

  • Supplies For 4th Grade Activities!

    Funded Oct 6, 2024

The project, "Supplies For 4th Grade Activities" has been a very welcome addition to the classroom!

A new seat, for students to work in different areas of the classroom, was utilized immediately and continues daily.

Additionally, the pencil holders are attached directly to the top of the students' desks, so they are readily available, and keep things organized.

Also, the magnet hooks can attach on the sides of the desks to hold the students' Brag Tags.

These additional resources are only available with generous donations from people like you. Thank you so much for thinking of these wonderful 4th graders!”

    With gratitude,

  • Communication is the Key to Success

    Funded Aug 3, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations to the project "Communication is the Key to Success".

My 4th grade students are excited to receive these supplies. Each student has a folder to take from school to home with their work samples, school and community information, and information to share with parents about their learning growth.

These folders are a blessing to help students learn organization skills, and teach responsibility to get their materials and homework to and from school.

Every donation is so appreciated and the needs are great. Thank you for making this project a success.”

  • Keep Hunger Away!

    Funded Aug 1, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation to the project "Keep Hunger Away".

Our 4th graders have so appreciated the snacks that were purchased to tide them over until their lunch time. Students start their day at 9:00 and their lunch is at 11:40, so they are very hungry in the early afternoon. Just a small snack makes a huge difference in their ability to focus on their learning. With some carbs to provide them with that little extra energy, they can keep going to finish out their day.

    Thank you for your support!”

Having the basic hygiene supplies without worrying about where the money is coming from, will help students focused on learning. Deodorant and lip balm are simple and basic, but so much appreciated. The water bottles are within reach and students fill and use daily.

Every donation is so appreciated and the needs are great. Thank you for making this project a success.”

  • Snacks for Students

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation to the project "Snacks for Students".

Our 4th graders have so appreciated the snacks that were purchased to tide them over until their very late lunch time. Students start their day at 9:00 and their lunch is at 12:40, so they are very hungry in the early afternoon. Just a small snack a couple hours after school starts makes a huge difference in their ability to focus on their learning. With some carbs to provide that little extra energy, they can keep going until lunch.

    Thank you for your support!”

  • Snacks to Fuel Learning

    Funded Jan 1, 2024

Thank for your donation to "Snack to Fuel Learning".

Our 4th graders were so excited to see the snacks coming in the mail. They were even more interested to find out that donors were complete strangers, and that care about them enough to donate and provide our class with these snacks!

Students are very appreciative to have a little extra to help to hold them over until their late lunchtime, enabling them to continue to focus and learn at their very best.

Thank you again so much for your donation.”

  • Learning Math Through Games

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

Thank you for your generous donation to the project "Learning Math Through Games" for our 4th grade students.

This project has enabled these students to practice much needed skills, at their own level, in a fun and engaging way. Each learning game is for a specific math skill that we are currently learning. Having the extra opportunities to practice these skills in another way, really enable the students to shine.

Students are enthusiastically playing these games, working with other classmates, and helping one another learn.

All of this is possible with your donations. Thank you so very much.”

My students attend school in a rural agricultural area rich with cultural diversity. They are eager learners that have families that are just as diverse and want their children to learn and succeed. In an atmosphere of shrinking resources, families find it difficult to provide extra for their family. Any support we can offer families that will encourage parental Involvement and interest will be most appreciated by all.
